Im so frazzled.. Just sitting enjoying a well deserved drink... Worked hard this week and then had to go School shoe shopping the sat before school starts and then went to a 90th bday party where for the first time i was designated driver...

I was reading elsewhere Jen, that someone buys something every week in the holidays towards their child's school uniform. I thought that was a brilliant idea and lessened the stress a bit

How is the driving going Jen?

I presume you have had chance to hone your skills.

Now - this sounds suspiciously like mine own threadage entitled,

"What have you done today"

To be perfectly honest Saint, I was wondering what everyone was doing post Strictly. I was at a loose end so wondered if anyone was looking to chat. EFFT was the first responded so I went with that suggestion.

Any resemblance to any thread current or lapsed is purely coincidental.

Aaaaah I love cafÃĐ culture

Could sit there all day, chatting, sampling world coffees and people watching

Me too. Try to do it everyday, not always able to manage it, but I do like it. Usually try and catch up on the forum and a few of the other websites I visit regularly. I normally get a good seat and there is a lot of activities outside of my favourite cafÃĐ.

I got quite a bit done early tbh it was mainly the shoes x3! I actually got quite a bit of the youngest ones stuff before they even broke up

Loving it, car engine light came on and it kept cutting out on me the week I'd booked off work to take the kids on a couple of days out (typical ) but fair play to MrJen he dropped us off for the days out and picked us up after and googled the crap out of the problem, ordered the part (and ramps!) and fixed it in an hour I drive most days tbh and i love 'car discos' with the kids aswell as  little one on chats with each of them.. In short I really enjoy driving, it really has opened up my world so to speak, ~I do so much more now.

I'm still to make the trip to Birmingham from Notts down the motorways though, I've been one junction on the M1? (i think) just for a taster.... i will do it at some point

Dropped car off and walked through Newcastle to get bus home.

Who did I spy?

SCARLET MOFFAT from that there GOGGLEBOX!!

She's gone from girl next door to painfully thin, Rylan's teeth, tango'd trollop, teetering on ridiculous heels and dragging behind a gingered, tattoo'd gorilla.

She might be a lovely person - I don't know - but it was not a good look.

Stick insect on the verge of prostitution may be unkind but her presence did not impress nor move Sainty one inch - mostly on account of me being furiously posh to the point of hurting.

Bad news on the car front, but unfortunately that's the nature of the beast!

Still the good news is that it sound like you are getting out and about more.  I too need to go to Brum to visit friends - a lift would be appreciated lol
