Heard the interview with John Lydon on Radio six yesterday.  Johnny Rotten is still a cantankerous contrarian who likes nothing better than to wind people up.  When Johnny Rotten is still winding people up and being infuriatingly antagonistic, all is well! (kind of)

Sorry for seeming like a pretentious twat, but I only really heard this in that Nicolas Cage "Knowing" film.  It's lovely!

Ooo! Haven't seen the film Carnelian, but I like the really light touch the piece is given there.  I'm not a great Beethoven fan tbh. He does a lot of finesse but often lacks real transitions of emotion. I like me fave, Britten. This is utterly the most atmospheric piece of music I've ever heard. I shiver whenever I hear it.

Can't beat a bit of Blur (far better than Oasis)  (IMO)

I'll argue the toss to some extent but I preferred Pulp. Actually, I remember slamming on my car player as I waited to exit Glynebourne one summer night! I also chatted to Jarvis Cocker one night on a ferry to Brittany! Honest! Bizarre or what? 

Oh my. Marvin Gaye. This late. Slam dunk.
