Hailing from Edinburgh, these two musical genius' produce some of the best electronica I own.

What does this music make you think of?

Anyone of a certain age will understand.

I thought they came from East Kilbride. Here's the Mercedes ad..and I remember watching those films at school..

You may be well right with East Kilbride, I have to rely on the Interweb for knowledge. One thing is they do seem to be rather media shy and don't give a lot away, which is why I could have read the wrong info.

One thing, whichever part of Scotland they are from, I thank my lucky stars they decided to take up music.

Rue the Whirl

ROYGBIV does have a very 70's public information film feel to it.

Here is one I'm posting for you sir. Another favourite of mine (probably as song which would make my all time top 100). It's Blue Bell Knoll by Cocteau Twins.

Enjoy Mr. Velvet.

There are some singers who have a voice which you can just listen to forever and there is something about Brendan Perry that has that effect on me. This two part song has everything I love about his voice, in fact the songs themselves have some beautiful lyrics.

Tonight I am putting this into my top one hundred songs of all time 'I Can See Now / American Dreaming [Live]'
