TOON - calm as can be, mild but damp n wet
Very sunny but cold when I went out, got to the middle of nowhere and the monsoon rain soaked me....drowned rat went home

Wet and windy today, not quite as cold.
……………..………...and today it's overcast, wet and windy and not all that warm!
I am now unable to get out of the drive. A large tree branch which was damaged by earlier wind broke off and now I can't get the car out of the drive. It happened around 8:15 shortly after the end of a rather confusing and uninspiring episode of Dr Who.

And our new garage roof sprung a small leak !!!!!!!!!!!
They're coming out on Wed to take a look and probably plaster sealant all over said area

Wet, breezy and grey - one short sunny spell (about 20 minutes) and one flurry of snow (about 2 minutes).
Just had some wilder wind and more snow - about 5 minutes this time!

Newcastle - windy and sunny at first then rain lashing against the window for about 3hours
Then sunny again for a few hours
And then wintry ... with plenty wind

Today we have (had), Greyness, wetness, windiness, hail, sleet, rain and sunny periods with blue skies and white fluffy clouds. 
On the day that saw the state funeral of Joseph Shabalala - founder of Ladysmith Black Mambazo - I hope other FMs don't mind me hijacking the thread slightly.
I've been humming LBM songs all week but, in the context of other events closer to home, this one rather obviously stuck out. As a current "weather update" it is of course somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but I've also always felt that it has something serious - even profound - to say about our often conflicted relationship with the weather...

Um.....not very promising.
Newcatle - all was still and cold last night - no wind
Woke up to an inch of snow!! And still no wind
Suddenly the wind began at 4pm-ish as the temp increased
Now no snow and gusting winds
