Been a horrible day here in the West Midlands, rainy, what my nan used to call mizzle, not enough for full windscreen wipers, but too bad to use intermittent windscreen wipers and bloody cold, am currently wrapped up in duvet and thinking of making a cup of hot chocolate.

Edited for location - sorry Renton, it's because we used to have our locations at the bottom of our posts and sigs GaGa old days

Unusually cool for a fall day for our area...started out at 49 degrees F and didn't warm up much ... sprinkled early and then had a slight mist off and on all day.  Basically a dreary day.  I would prefer thunder and lightning ... a real storm compared to this piddle around about it sort of stuff.  But I like the thunder and lightning ... show me the power type!

and have washing on the line.
...WOW that brought back memories from my grandma's when I helped with laundry on Saturdays ... we used a #3 size tub on a wood burning stove (no electricity or running water) to wash the clothes in and hung them on the line outside to dry - I can smell how great they smelled as I type this!  We have grown accustomed to using a dryer and tend to forget the way things were in the old days.  Thanks for the memories!

btw: our weather here today is still cool but no rain...expecting a frost Saturday night so all our outside plants will have to be moved indoors tomorrow for the next two season.
