  Aww, it's lovely!

Reminds me of when we stayed at the Coombe Manor Club - we overlooked the canal and sat out on our terrace getting tipsy enjoying the ambience of it all.

I really liked it, Cos - although I'm not sure about the ending....

I thought the same. Thought it was great right up to the "series plot arc development" ending. I mean; is that actually legal?

That crossed my mind too.  I was just so surprised by that turn of events - it took the whole thing from slightly different and a bit edgy to a wee bit on the schmaltzy side.   I hope they do something interesting with the storyline now.   That said - I'm looking forward to the next episode.

There's 4 hours I'll never see again ... Three and a half hours of really good telly, 30 mins of the most flacid, floppy ending ever.

Can you tell I'm disappointed?!

Awful wasn't it?    Huge let down.

Sounds like I made a good move by giving it a miss...

Yes, but I'm not "up to speed" at the moment - I've still to watch this week's episode...

I blame BB..  and the Island - that's most of my daily telly watching accounted for during the week.

BB and "Breaking Bad" are the main reasons for me at the moment...

Breaking Bad is fantastic. We watched the lot last year starting round about this time. It's when we discovered the box set binge watching bug. After that it was Game of Thrones, Boardwalk, sopranos, and peaky blinders. I don't know if you have any "yellow shops" (cash converters C-exchange) but you can usually pick up sets for reasonable prices. We still have some of the latter ones to get us through this summer.

I still havent seen a single episode of Breaking Bad.   I keep thinking about getting netflix, but since I can't even keep up with live telly it seems a bit pointless!  One day...

So far I've been able to keep up with it on Spike (they're on Series 3 now), but with BB every night and EastEnders most week nights it's becoming a bit of a struggle. I've already given up on BOTS (apart from eviction nights), but I don't think that's much of a loss!

I've heard that so often.  I feel like the only person in the world who's not seen it.      I could borrow the box set - it's in the family - but it's finding the time.

Eugene - I got all excited when I heard about Spike  .. then found out I don't get it on Virgin.

Ah, right. I've only got Freeview, so box sets are the only option for GoT (I'm not that bothered about most of the other Sky shows). Spike is on Sky, but no: not Virgin...
