Hi Slim I hope your day is going well . Don’t worry , I don’t intend doing anything different for at least a couple of weeks , until we get a handle on this Indian variant , and I see what the results are of the lockdown easing are , and all those stupid people queuing to get into a pub or on a plane !

Good thinking Batwoman

The 'Puerto Lounge' on the quay has queues ....in the rain too
(it's a slightly posher version of a Wetherspoons)

Totally mad imo Slim â€Ķ..I reckon we will be paying the price in about two weeks time when figures rise again!

India are reporting 100,000 cases per day atm.........but then their population is vastly greater than ours & their vaccine programme hasn't been as successful<<<<<< I'm hoping ours will lead to less of a backlash with social distancing being relaxed ..fingers crossed

Hi Slim It sounds like you’ve had a lovely day â€Ķ.and your lucky daughter. Were there many people about ?

Hey Baz
There was an elderly couple sat in when we arrived....another took their seats when they left.
I was the only one looking around the antiques..........the quay in general was fairly quiet, but then it was piddling down.

Still had a queue outside the Puerto Lounge though ..mainly younger couples & children

Stopped by the quay shop for a bottle of Merlot....my sister reminded me it is her husbands b'day today...I had forgotten

I’m sure a bottle of Merlot will suffice. It was Mr Bs favourite red wine .
