The ticker is in the green bar at the top Maz. It shows new posts in places you have visited....and also alerts when you get things like friend requests and group invites etc. It's a great way to keep track of where you've been., but not so great if you post everywhere cos then you can't keep up with it .

Alsoooo is there a way to turn off email updates that tell you that someone's replied to a topic you've posted in?

Go to the green bar at the top and go to your settings....click on the vaction option right at the bottom. That should stop the little blighters! Don't forget to save your changes though.
