Use the tunnel these days or take car ferry to Cherbourg

My son uses the tunnel cos my DIL won’t fly or go by boat

don't blame her -  been on the ferry a few times but will go on the tunnel one day

Miss KT won't fly either....and I hate all the airport faffing these days anyway

I detest flying and doubt I would ever do it again

Foreign trains are fast and much cheaper than hours....I doubt I'll bother flying again unless it's a dire necessity

yes have travelled by train - its great - fancy doing it again

I don't remember at all

I think he wanted to make sure he had total control of the skies etc...he also hoped war with us ended in a peace treaty, he cocked up massively. I don't think he realised how depleted and tired we were after Dunkirk

If I remember....when the battle for the skies failed he didn't dare risk his ships, but I may be right off beam here

It's a disgrace tbh

it's disgusting.... you pay Β£150 for a ticket and have to sit on the floor

wow bit cheaper from here

Yes , when my friend and I were doing our London days out we never paid more than Β£30-40 return from here to Euston ....but we did book up well in advance
