My DIL won’t fly either ....she couldn’t even make herself do it when her dad was in hospital abroad ....she got to the airport , but couldn’t get on the plane 

 

I remember Baz, it really is an awful fear...

That happened to Miss KT, even though she'd gone on a Fear of Flying course the week before

Nor was I , but if it hadn’t ended when it did I probably wouldn’t even be here ....my dad was a Japanese pow 

My parents were born in 1939.....and my nana was born in 1914. She said she started WW1 and my dad started WW2
