We were clever here in the Norf East 

never had an electric blanket and not had  a hot water bottle for donkeys-but can see they are a comfort

I didn’t even have it then I didn’t get it til we bought our second house 

up until my 30's my aunt still had a black range in her living room and bread oven  She was always making bread, no wonder I have a problem losing pounds

I've had both, although I haven't used a blanket for years but I do have a rubber hottie in the kitchen draw should I need it

first house we bought we stripped it bare and modernized it... mostly ourselves apart from plumbing and electrics

We had ducted heating three houses ago and then had rads in the house before this
