Have you had a strange occurrence or something odd happen to you?

Almost everyone has a story of something weird happening.

 

I have and it was witnessed by someone else too!!

 

One evening, after a late shift at work I gave a fellow staff member a life home.

Arriving at her house, it was about 10.30pm we stopped for a while and chatted about this n that.

I noticed a hedgehog about 30ft away and pointed it out,

"Do you get many hedgehogs round here?"

"Oh a few" was the reply.

We watched it for a while as it ran around, stopping then moving on.

We could see it quite clearly.

Suddenly there was a gust of wind, it blew dust and leaves across the road and suddenly the hedgehog was lifted into the air in a huge swirl.

It span around and suddenly became a plastic bag!!

We were stunned - especially as both of us had seen exactly the same thing!!

I was so glad I had a witness.

To this day I can't explain what we saw - it was definitely a hedgehog that swept into the air, span around and became a plastic bag!!

Right in front of us.

 

I think it was some type of ASDA Animagus

Although it sounds quite comical we were speechless

We watched that hedgehog for a while, quite clearly as my car lights were on.

It was worthy of the best Hollywood CGI

we drove past the huge tree as usual

but

as we drove past the tree i noticed the shape of a witch & i was a bit freaked but said nothing

we got home

Mum was washing the dishes and I was upstairs in the bathroom.

I heard footsteps quite clearly coming up the stairs - I thought it was my Mum. But as the footsteps got to the top of the stairs I could here the noise of crockery washing being done so it must be my Dad!!

What's he doing coming up the stairs unaided!!

Then the footsteps went into the front room and I heard the distinct sound of wardrobe doors being opened.

My dad keeps all his books there - it must be him!!

So I walked out of the bathroom to ask what he was doing.

No one was there!!!

So I went back into the bathroom only to hear the door to the small bedroom opening.

When I went to check it was closed. I thought perhaps my Dad was inside the room so I knocked and entered .

No one was there!!

I went downstairs - both my parent were watching TV

Fascinating that you had a witness and saw the same thing 

Years ago I was told by the vicar that he had recently been requested by a house owner to carry out an exorcism on the house as they could hear unexplained sounds in the house. (some Anglican clergy do sometime carry out exorcisms, it's not just Roman Catholics - Midwinter of the Spirit on ITV was a drama about that).

There used to be a hospital run by nuns in the same road as the house. No longer there but there had been reports of a sighting of the ghost of a nun who had committed suicide following the death of a child she had been treating.

A bizarre story I wanted to share about DIANA DORS

 Dors regularly held adult parties at her home. There, a number of celebrities, amply supplied with alcohol and drugs, mixed with young starlets against a background of both softcore and hardcore porn films.^[4] Dors gave all her guests full access to the entire house; her son Jason Lake later alleged in various media interviews and publications that she had equipped it with 8 mm movie cameras.^[15] The young starlets were made aware of the arrangements and were allowed to attend for free in return for making sure that their celebrity partners performed in bed at the right camera angles.^[4] Dors would then enjoy watching the films the following morning, keeping an archive of the best performances.

After her death, Alan Lake burned all of Dors' remaining clothes and fell into a depression. On 10 October 1984, Lake did a telephone interview with Daily Express journalist Jean Rook. He then walked into their son's bedroom and took his own life by firing a shotgun into his mouth.^[9] He was 43.

Dors apparently hid away what she claimed to be more than £2 million in banks across Europe. In 1982, she gave her son Mark Dawson a sheet of paper, on which she told him was a code that would reveal the whereabouts of the money.^[4] Alan Lake supposedly had the key that would crack the code, but as he had committed suicide, Dawson was left with an apparently unsolvable code.^[4][16]

Dawson sought out computer forensic specialists Inforenz, who recognised the encryption as the Vigenère cipher. Inforenz then used their own cryptanalysis software to suggest a ten-letter decryption key, DMARYFLUCK (short for Diana Mary Fluck, Dors's real name).^[4] Although Inforenz was then able to decode the entire message and link it to a bank statement found in some of Lake's papers, the location of the money is still unknown

im sure posted here about last xmas & i was taking pic of 1 of the cats and a huge ball of light was zooming around in front of me

i took a pic

i should've took a vid

but i was a bit freaked

it was proper fast

i always like to think it was the mintchop dog coming back to say hello

It's possibly the most variable programme on television in style, storyline, and quality. One episode can be quite serious in tone, the next can be closer to a carry on film. 3 storylines in today's - 1 a bit spooky (hence mentioning it), 1 a bit farcical, and 1 more medical.

And now a truly weird and unsettling one:

My sister believes in nothing other than her next wage packet

You catch my drift, neither religious nor superstitious.

One day she decided to take her dog Kimmy for a walk down to the river with a friend and her dog, passing under the railway line to gain access like everyone else.

The walk was fine.

After walking under the railway line they headed towards the car.

My sister felt something brush against her leg like someone was pushing passed.

She turned to see who it was as no one else was around.

Both my sister and her friend saw the bottom half of a man's body, just the legs walking towards the railway lines!!!

They ran!!

I'm glad the wallpaper has gone as it commits a cardinal sin of large print design in a small area - it's a no-no.

But  ... you have captured superb evidence of a truly astonishing strange occurrence.

I couldn't drive so I used to bike there and then back home late at night - around 11pm.

One night I was riding home as usual, down a long, long road. I could see clearly for about 1/2 mile, street lights etc ...

Suddenly a man appeared from no where about 10metres down the road - as if he's been tying his shoelace then stood up.

I got such a shock I swerved my bike across the road and almost fell off !!

He just walked on his way even though I got the fright of my life.

I have no idea how he appeared from nowhere

VOYNICH MANUSCRIPT

This early 15-century book is a botanical text of sorts. Only the ink drawings of plants features in it are of a completely unknown origin. What's also unusual is the undecipherable text accompanying the plants and the many astronomical and astrological charts, as well as numerous female nudes which allude to some kind of reproductive processes, judging by their swollen bellies and interaction with interconnected tubes and capsules. Also present are over a 100 drawings of possibly medicinal variety of herbs and roots in various jars.

What does this all mean? Perhaps this is some kind of book of medicine from a galaxy far far away. Or a witch's notebook. The manuscript was written in an unknown language and has been studied by scores of professional codebreakers who have come up with nothing.
