James Montgomery (4 November 1771 – 30 April 1854) was a Scottish-born poet, hymn writer and editor. He was concerned with humanitarian causes such as the abolition of slavery and of exploitation of child chimney sweeps.

82 years of age - that's pretty good for the time period.

Hi Yogi, not bumped into you for some time. Hope you are well.

Hi EC. I'm good, thanks. Hope all is well with you?

I'm good too, thanks. Just off this week and house viewing (see Darnies thread ). Also looking for a car.

Ooh, exciting. I see from the Darnies you have already looked at a couple of properties. What sort of car do you fancy?

I'm looking for economical, low insurance and VED tax, as high residuals as possible and reliable. Most likely a city car as I don't drive much out of the city.

Will be something like a Hyundai, VW UP! or a Toyota of some kind.

Good luck with finding something you like.

Is the house purchase to live in or rent out?
