Still shocked .... but not surprised
I never liked him
I damaged person with a nasty temperament
Such a shame, again another gone before his time, seemed to have talent, the wherewithal to lead a happy life but 'stuff' messed him up, including the people who made money out of allowing him to go on with his quest to look different....

Watched him recently on Celebrity botched up bodies.
Physically he was in a total mess - all his teeth had rotted
He had a face lift to remove fillers that had moved around his face.
Everything was a mess - which makes you wonder what his internals were like.
Never thought he'd last into old age

Yes , I saw that too Renton ....dreadful the mess he had made of himself 
Back in 1983 I purchased the vinyl singles 'Misty Circles' and 'What I Want' shortly before the release of 'That's the Way (I Like it)' another buy for me, then came 'You Spin Me' which I guess is what they are best known for.
Soon a massive retrospective box set is being released. I have had a liking for the band and some of their output. Just a shame Pete went down the road of repeated procedures.
Sad for the loss of Pete and also another part of my youth has disappeared.
Such a shame,I loved him on celeb BB,he had a razor sharp wit.Such a pity he went down the road of body dysmorphia.R.I.P. Pete.

I know Boy George has had his moments, but I don't see how doing this for a friend makes him unpleasant (I like him btw)
Birds of a feather - that's all. Didn't mean him paying was unpleasant.
Peter was horrendous in his treatment of an American who appeared alongside him on CBB - can't remember her name. Reduced her to tears for no reason.
Boy George's criminal record says it all.
There just seems to be an underlying unpleasantness with both of them.

I'm not sure if I I saw that CBB , but when I did see him on various programmes I didn't like him.....he came across as a totally *me first, me middle , and me last* person ....

Plenty of celebrities have been in or flurted with jail. He does not seem to be such a bad person, in fact he came across very well as a judge on The Voice.
As for Pete Burns, to completely judge him on one incident on a carp reality show may not reflect his true personality. We see minute snatches of his life after all.
Oh not just that EC - on many progs I've seen Pete Burns was seen as "caustic" or "acerbic" - he wasn't he was nasty.
I've never liked him. There must be a reason.
And Boy George - drug taking, prostitute using, kidnapping convict doesn't sound good. Saw him on another prog about revisiting your childhood home and he didn't come across well there either.

I remember Pete as one of the contestants in the best BB series of all time. There was a bit of nonsense about one of his coats but otherwise he was good value.
He certainly wasn't in the same bad boy league as the, if I may put it so as not to offend, arschloch, Rex.
Boy George was convicted after a drug fueled sex game went wrong. We've all been there.

Seriously though - who hasn't been tempted to handcuff someone to a radiator at some point in their lives eh?
Don't get me started on Rex - reminded me of Gordon 'Bleu' Ramsay.
He was no Bowie but he was a follow on who did his own thing on his own terms. Dead Or Alive were part of that mid 80s thing when the gay bands and singers were making the best dance music and breaking down barriers.
