I went to one of those 70's nights at Wembley a good few years back. We had the Rubettes, Mud, Alvin Stardust, Suzi Quatro and someone else I can't remember. I went because my mate is a big Suzi Q fan and used to drag me around to them.
It was a really good laugh, all different ages there, a lot of people dressed up.
The worst part was Tony Blackburn compering - in a skintight purple lurex jumpsuit.
I needed eye bleach after that

My dad loved SuziQ. I think he even tired to get my mum to wear the outfit

I was a teen in the 70's but hated all that pop star shit.I was a rock chick,I loved "The Who etc.
I just loved them all .....I was and still am a big Who fan but .......david essex and BCR - just loved them. Saw BCR at The Orchid in Purley - brilliant night.

Hope you have a great time Lal ......my favourite outfit from the seventies was blue satin knickerbockers, platform boots and a lovely white Ossie Clarke top - I used to think I looked the bees knees. Wish I'd hung on to all my glad rags.
