No chemistry - Evans shouting a lot and Le Blanc was laid back.
Would have been better as Le Blanc/Hammond/May where they could have played on the foreigner Yank thing just like they goad Clarkson.

I was listening to reviews on the radio this morning. Some people like it, some don't. I didn't watch so I don't know. Disliked Clarkson intensely. His brain never seemed to be in charge of his mouth.
Some of the things he came out were, in my opinion, just said to spark controversy. I was glad to see him go. The other two where okay.
I dislike Chris Evans even more than Clarkson. Talentless nonentity, again in my opinion. I have no idea whatsoever how he "acquired" his "so called fame"

OK. I just watched it on repeat. My brain thinkings below.

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to give an honest, unbiased opinion as I can't stand the ginger tosser Evans. His half @rsed attempts at being Clarkson were embarrassing. Despite Clarkson's failings at least he had developed his own style of presenting, which Evans seems to be using as a basis for his own.
The show has kept almost all of the elements even down to the intro for Stig.
I was growing tired of the previous threesome's antic and pointless three wheeler expeditions which the current show seems to have kept. I drifted.
I am a fan of Matt LeBlanc, especially in the comedy Episodes. He did OK, but nothing to write home about.
I watched to see what it would be like, but I feel that was me done. Fingers crossed the viewing figures go through the floor, rethink the show as a car review show again and ditch the present team in favour of Suzi Perry.
As I said - if they'd just had fun with it, it would have been great.
LeBlanc looked bored and would have been better on his own.
They don't gel
. . . and the show looked hashed together.
It would have been better if the new Star in a car thing started with Evans and LeBlanc driving first - against each other and been the first times on the board.
Jesse thingy and sweary Chef were a mess. Getting the audience to cheer their cars was feeble.
Never liked Sabine - and chasing each other in cars is nothing new.
Reliant section was a disaster and quite dull.

Car Fetishism at it's worst. The biggest disappointment is that our BBC goes in for this sort of tomfoolery.
I will grit the teeth and give tonight one more go.
Having seen the McLaren piece I now think a good substitution would be Jenson for Evans.
Yeah, we are now into scripted stupidity territory.
Like Eddie Jordan would or could forget to put the car into off road mode not just once but twice and then try to poorly act a piece to camera fanning stupidity.

In my mind I said I would give it three shows. Tonight will be my third and more than likely last. I'm already fed up with the show and it would seem they will be serving up more dross.
You can't change the presenters , for whatever reason and mess with the format and expect it to be the same...never liked the show tbh. Hated "the mouth" Jeremy Clarkson, who seemed to think the sun shone out his rear and that he could say anything his mouth desired and get away with it.

It will probably be "tweaked" after series one one. I can see Clarkson coming back sometime in the future or the programme disappearing in all together...
