Baz, yours hasn't gone through as a mention to be emailed to me. You can see that the @and my name aren't in blue hyperlink text.

When you start typing the @name you need to wait for the possible names to be listed and select from those to get @Baz

If for some reason you want to show it as just text rather than a mention just use Remove Link over the name to remove the link @Baz

I think you have to type a couple of letters of the person's name, before you get the options @Enthusiastic Contrafibularities but you might need to type more letters (3 in your case) depending on how many other members have the same letter combination(s) in their name. The 'choose' box only seems to hold 5 names.

Fluffy,the last one.  I typed @ followed by El L, waited for the possible names to appear, then selected mine at which point it turned blue. When I posted it remained blue, the same as if I had mentioned someone else. But I got no email. I assume that the process identifies that you are mentioning yourself so that there is no point is sending an email to you.

It's much the same with liking a reply. If someone likes one of my replies I get an email. Although I can like one of my own replies which would be rather egoistic of me I would not get an email.

I know I'm WAAAAY late to the party, and everyone's gone home...

But, @Enthusiastic Contrafibularities, did you get it to work on the Android? We specifically tested on that, and it worked.

Lori, if I read his post correctly he only typed the @ symbol, no letters. But as he doesn't seem to have responded to me, I can't be sure.

Oh, well, he'll be back.
