Online delivery substitutions
If I'd wanted Dairylea instead of Danish Blue then I would have ordered Dairylea instead of Danish Blue!

Stop it already!!
If my order is out of stock then it's out of bloody stock!!!

..Thank you anyway

That’s a ridiculous substitution Jewel ! I have usually been lucky with substitutions , but a couple of weeks ago the size of milk I had ordered was apparently out of stock , and there was no suitable substitute ....go figure l

Oh I quite like Gogglebox but my Dad won't watch it and being as I'm stopping with him atm (because of the virus) I will have to go without...I can only get BBC channels in my room as my tellybox runs off the internet   ...Not so 'SMART' after all

Awwww that’s a shame .....we have a thread for it As it’s on C4 though can you not get it on the internet ....on All 4 ? I’m sure I could still get it on my iPad when I was in hospital last year ....might be worth checking ? Nice that you can be with your dad though .

Ginge & Whinge being on every form of media no matter which way I turn

Shut up already I don't care! There are more important things out there than you two spoilt brats!

Meanwhile Wills and Kate being reported daily doing zoom calls and all that's perceived as good. The Royal Family is one big stage-managed con. And the press and sections of the media have free licence to do what they like.

Harry was useful when he was the army pin-up boy.

The country's effed everywhere you look.

Sorry Velvet , but I’ll take Kate and Wills over Ginge and Whinge any day.   Tbh I also respect the Queen .....and when you look across the Atlantic at what last 5 years of being a democratic republic issued forth over there I  think I’ll take the stays quo any day .

Kate was on the make right from the start. The gap year, St Andrews, the catwalk.

She's too cocky/confident for me now she's been assimilated. Bottom line, if you wanna do good and think you are doing good (questionable ) because all you are is a recognised face and Royalty drop the self-promotion whilst doing it in the media. That would be the humble option. That shows the two way generally press relationship with the Royal "A" listers

Personally I'm indifferent re William & Kate, but the fact that they are seen to be caring by doing zoom calls is giving a great many people a sense of unity in a time of isolation. Whether it's staged or not imo doesn't matter...not on the topics they talk about anyway.

I tend to agree with Baz ...I'd rather what we have here than what they have over the ocean...in any direction. Our Royal family for the most do us proud & are loved & respected by many around the world. How or if that will change when the Queen dies is yet to be seen..

What has a member of the Royal Family done for you?

General question         All their wealth is ringfenced. And then some.

Hope and inspiration are out. So are hijacked charities to be seeing to do something.

If people at the other end of zoom calls and handshakes wanna be fooled go right ahead. It's a promotion exercise.

Well I remember being quite excited by a visit of the Queen Mother when I was about 5...even have the newspaper clipping somewhere in a box

The cost of the Royals is high when you take protection into account, but when you look at how much they bring to this country via tourism & historical matters etc then I think we're pretty much quids in. though maybe not this past 12 months.

I would have thought that those charities that have Royals as patrons would do quite well? or at least no worse than those who are patroned by celebrities...but then I have quite negative feelings re charities.......especially where the funding they get is spent
