Tonight's episode and Thursday's episode are very similar, The ten chefs have been split into two sets of five with the first set today and the second on Thursday. The episodes are where they set up a pop up kitchen and prepare a dish for the invitees. The invitees vote for their favourite who goes straight through to the semi finals next week. The other four, back in the MasterChef kitchen, create a dish based on their favourite beverage. One of the four goes home, the other three go through to next week.

The BBC has said that as this series of MasterChef: The Professionals had been recorded, the remaining episodes will be shown.
No mention yet as to the two celebrity episodes which would have been shown over the festive season will be shown,
One was with the return of Emmerdale actor Amy Walsh; comedian Shazia Mirza; reality star Luca Bish and popstar and lead singer of The Wanted, Max George,
The other was with Strictly professionals Cha-Cha-Champion are Amy Dowden MBE, Gorka Marquez, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu. The first challenge was set by Motsi Mabuse.
Those episodes would have been recorded some time ago.
