I think you are right in saying he is jealous of Siavash...probably. But, I don't think Marcus is wrong when he says Siavash would be at the top of the hill before the flood comes.

Siavash always does things and then moves away from the situation he's caused leaving others to take the rap.

Obviously as a huge Siavash fan, I'm not going to agree here, and even if I wasn't that into Siavash, I'd still disagree simply because Siavash is completey oblivious to Marcus's true feelings towards him, Marcus has these feelings why not tell Siavash straight?

Why chat to him have a laugh, and support the things Siavash does?

At no time I can remember, has Siavash ever slated Marcus in or outside the diary room, he likes Marcus and in a kind of misguided way he looks up to Marcus. When Sophie went on the rampage about Marcus having fags under his bed, Siavash was the only one who stuck up for Marcus saying he thought Marcus's intentions were well meant..Proving here Siavash does not jump on the bandwagon.
Would Marcus have done the same for Siavash? i doubt it.

I dislike people at college, but I don't go around bitching about them to anyone who will listen. Marcus has had this boring grudge for weeks now... crucify Siavash in the DR and to HMs Sleepy

I think it's because Marcus approves of Siavash's rebellious side, he likes the breaking of rules etc.

But, when it comes down to the after affects though that's where Siavash let's him down because rather than take responsiblity for his actions he fads into the background whereas Marcus would face it head on. That's what I think anyway.

I'm afraid we may have to agree to disagree on this one. Smiler

LOS I think Marcus would stab anyone in the back to win he's done it the past with Noirin, and continues to do it with Siavash.

Siavash is not a proven Backstabber, Marcus is...

how did he stab Noirin in the back Confused also im still to see any bad things Marcus has done to Siavash apart from voice his opinion Thumbs Up.

I think all this carry on with siavash is not going to do him any favours, the nomination stuff,he came back well from the noirin saga.

I do think marcus has a points about siavash i posted something similiar abouti, although i do think marcus has never got over the noirin/siavash stuff.

From that point on marcus fred and siavash didnt seem the same anymore.

Marcus does not bother with him anymore and siavash seems to bother more with others

I am gutted i thought those 3 were great together, and i do think siavash deserves place in final like marcus

But winning I do not know,i think he has lost support a bit like freddie did over all wee different things Frowner

I was flabbergasted when he 'done him over' in the DR. I've come to the conclusion that Marcus really is a fairly ruthless lone wolf (only on the sniff for females).
subatomic partygirl
IMO, in 2nites show Marcus showed himself as wanting the prize as much as any of the rest of them.
They are ALL doing it - thing is, only bits of it get noticed because some are STRONG characters (as in Marcus/Vash/Lisa - maybe Rodders) - the weaker ones are doing their best, but the ones I mentioned up above HAVE the game sorted - they KNOW who their competition is - and it certainly isnt Bea/Charlie/David/Sofie Nod

Ooooh good point Cool Nod I forgot all about that...

Yep, seems like Marcus has forgotten too.

How he can say that Vash runs away from trouble (flood, whatever) is shite. By saving Marcus from being Nom'd he was riling Lisa's large group and risked being targeted by them for saving someone they disliked. The dick!
