As nominations began yesterday evening, all the housemates were well aware of the consequences of refusing to nominate.

Despite this, Siavash stood by his decision not to nominate, which caused quite a stir among his fellow housemates. Ironically, since she was the one to suffer from his refusal, Sophie was the only housemate not to argue with Siavash about his decision.

Charlie and Rodrigo were particularly open about their feelings, telling Siavash that he was only doing it to look like Mr Nice Guy'. Rodrigo told Siavash not to talk to him again. But Charlie went a step further, laying into Siavash over his infidelity to his girlfriend.

As all the housemates, except Sophie, continued to gripe about Siavash throughout the evening, a divide started to form in the House. Later, as Big Brother played music into the House and all the housemates danced, Siavash sat alone in the Garden talking to himself.

Marcus went into the Diary Room and talked to Big Brother about the row and said that in his opinion, Siavash was a bull *******'. He then said that he felt sorry for Sophie as everyone in the House was manipulating her.

Later Siavash went to the Diary Room. He said he felt good because he believed his decisions were right. He suggested that the housemates' angry reactions showed they didn't want him to leave the House. On being labelled Mr Nice Guy' he suggested that Charlie and Rodrigo were angrier at the thought of Siavash winning as opposed to what he actually did.

I've been watching it on last nights LF. Charlie is showing his nasty side very much in the way he did with Freddie. Rodrigo is acting, as ever, like a spoilt kid and Marcus seems to be a bit miffed that he's not at the centre of the action.
Whatever the rights and wrongs of Siavash's abstention it is certainly acting as a catalyst in bringing out the true natures of the HMs.

i think hes thinking off how things panned out with freddie and how they ganged up, and the block voting, we have seen it all through the show really. Just trying a different tactic int a bad thing.

Spot on, Freddie said the same when Siavash refused to nominate the first time.

A pattern is definitely forming justa. This is what Lisa engineered with Freddie .. marginalise and isolate the one who doesn't play by the Lisa Rules of Unfair Play. Get him nominated by the block vote and, voila, one less dissenter to worry about. Grrrr

I admire Siavash for sticking to his guns. After all, Sophie and Charlie were unlikely to get many noms from elsewhere and he probably prevented this week from being a straight Dave vs Marcus eviction. He knew which way most would be voting and decided that he would try to put himself up by abstaining from his likely votes (Dave and Lisa).

On the other hand I can see that BB will have to be tougher in the future shows (if any) and tell hms in advance that not nomming will result in instant eviction, otherwise more hms will do this in the future.

I get your point, but Sophie knew Siavash's stance and all week she's been saying she wants to go home and she doesn't care if she's up. Due in part to the magazine stuff and Kris baloney.

I don't think she is up by the way, I think it is just Marcus and Siavash, I was hoping Charlie would be in the mix, but that would be too fortunate wouldn't it? LOL's Big Grin

Nail, head.

Probably why Charlie had to drag up Siavash's "infidelity", just to make sure the public remember that when voting Nod Roll Eyes

Having said that, though, I've completely gone off Siavash because of this. BB should have chucked him out the first time he tried it.
He's not a hero, defying a despotic regime, just acting like a berk over rules he agreed to abide by when he went in there.

I disagree that it would be unfair on Sophie if she was up, she has refused to nominate on a few occassions now and has got away with it

Siavash has exposed all their weaknesses and I admire him for that! He has been true to his word, he says what he means, he is honest and he knew sophie would be safe as I am sure she is... She is the only one in there that gets what he is doing, not such a dizzy blonde!

Marcus and charlie are soooooo dishonest if by some chance siavash does go (which I doubt) I wouldn't be bothered watching the numb nuts that are left in there! You can dress it up anyway you want, but at the end of the day Siavash is not losing fans outside as most of us know, his intentions are not to hurt anyone, he just wants a fairer game!

No he wasn't. He was talking to the viewers trying to explain that although he does not want to play the game by nominating or by entertaining he will still take the money.

i understand luxor but i think he was just trying to stop the block voting.
we now have siavash and marcus against each other for eviction its not going to be a good last week siavash and marcus should both be there, we now have lisa david and charlie it int worth watching ,

right off him.

Saw it too Aquarius, and like you I've gone completely of cowardly desperate BB kiss arse Rodrigo. Nod

I do not understand how he thought he was stopping the block voting.
If he was so against it why not go to the diary room and tell BB that he was leaving because they were not doing anything about Lisa and her gang.
That would be standing up for your principals.
