Dameee, it's just my opinion, I'm not asking you to agree and there is no need to be sorry
The thing is how can JC form an opposition when new ministers are resigning as soon as they are installed?
JC could resign and then put himself up for reelection and see the outcome as a result of the 'no confidence vote'
That would certainly shut the likes of me up for a start, if he still has such a mandate...
I would also say that he doesn't have to and probably won't do that so where do we go from here?
He can't resign and put himself up Moonie that is the problem, pressure would be put on those not to give him the 35 signatures he needs. They should set up a challenge and then he would willingly stand again because it would be another MP challenging his name would automatically go on the ballot, they won't because no one can win against him.
In the 9 months he's been leader, he's been ridiculed by the right wing press, he's been ridiculed and bayed at by tories opposite. He's attended 60 events in the run up to the referendum, not one that I have seen on the main news channels? he's been attacked constantly from the right wing media, the Blairites and the Tory party who are in complete disarray... to me that's a sign of a strong man, not a weak leader.
Labour increased their majority in every by election, they won all four Mayoral elections and equalled the number of Councils they hold. The labour vote in the referendum was 63% to remain....just think what he could have achieved with the backing of the Blairites. I'm not at a loss as to why they have done it, I'm surprised at the excuse they used, I'm sure plan B was always another option though.
