so....

not that i expect anyone to get this...but hey!!

15 years ago one of my best friends died from cervical cancer aged 42...she left behind 2 daughters aged 18 and 14

i stayed in touch with her hubby and daughters and then we all somehow just lost touch

pratting around whilst i was locked out of here i went on friends reunited..which i haven't been on for yonks....and her eldest daughter had left me a message in july..

it was so sweet and i completely lost it that she remembered me all these years later and i've been blubbing ever since

i don't know why i'm posting this cos it means nothing to anyone but me.

dunno..maybe just brought home how important my friends are to me..how much i value them and love them

and oh i dunno....

i had a massive row with her before she died and we never really made it up...and i never knew she was ill(it took her life in a matter of weeks)..and now i feel all choked up n everything... Crying

It doesn't matter about the row, remember all the laughs you had in the years you were mates.

I totally understand 100% ................i lost my best friend when she was 44 ........she had an 11 year old and 13 year old son. I am still in touch 9although we live some distance away) ......when she knew she was terminally ill she asked me to keep in touch with her boys so that they would know who she was. I guess her husband would talk of her as a wife and mother. When i do see the (which is seldom) i do tell them things about when we were at school together and our teenage escapades.

I'm so glad you've regained a connection Hug I totally know where you're coming from TBH.

I understand that you are upset, but maybe the best way forward is to get on with her children. Live is full of shite and nice bits, in this case, just extract the nice bits. Hug
