Well, I'm using my lappy at the moment so I guess it should be the same. Just hold and depress the Ctrl & Alt keys whilst pressing the letter on which you require the accent.

I bought this lappy in New York, so it has an American keyboard, which I guess makes a difference - I can't even do English Pound signs or Euro signs on it Laugh


Control panel > regional options > Region and Launguage settings > pick English (UK) from the menu choices.

I had to do this a few weeks ago....my lappy keyboard went all screwy through updating a keyboard driver. Blush

As a former member of the forces I would hate it for National Service to be reintoduced. It is bad enough getting some who joined voluntarly to stop complaining abot being told what to do, without the madness of having thousands who do not want to be there.
Some who joined did not seem to realise that the Armed forces in this country 'defend democracy' not practice it.
