That's a myth. Left undisturbed, a fox will remove every carcass from the chicken coop, carry them away and bury them in various locations to eat later, when there's less food around (foxes don't mind smelly old meat).

The only reason people find carnage in their chicken coops, pigeon cots or rabbit hutches is because the fox has been disturbed before it can carry it all off.

I heard of a case where a fox got in some ones house after smelling roosting chicken and went upstairs and had a sleeping baby in its sights. Thank goodness I am a vegetarian. And no tots lying around Disappointed .
