Don't think they've said any more about it CS - just saying no suspicious circumstances   Remember he had that pneumonia a while back and it was touch and go then, so I guess he wasn't in the best of health.   He looked shocking when he came back from that.  J

I wonder if it was the same way as Fred

This would seem a possibility.

ECs's post on this says it was heart failure!

I saw that.    Don't know how his manager can say that when his family and the police say there will be no comment and they won't know till after the post mortem.

I suppose it's heart failure that ultimately does it for us all in the end Kaffs

Why does it matter? I for one don't think he died from AIDS related illness like has been intimated.

I guess when anyone dies long before their time people will be curious.. but no less tragic whatever the reason.

They're showing one of his concerts tomorrow at 10 p.m. on BBC 1 (I think)  i'm still stunned - feels like Bowie all over again.

Unable to sleep and just found out the news.

His shared version of Don't let the sun go down on me is one of the most moving pieces of music I possess.

I loved listening to "Older" as i'd drive to start night shift.

To me "Older" just seemed to be fitting for night time ... in some quiet Parisian bar. Sound odd but I would always think of some wine bar, late at night and him singing this stuff.

Jesus to a child was perhaps one of the most moving songs - about the death of his then partner.

A friend of mine has just posted on FB that his charity, Circus Eruption which teaches circus and performance skills to children and young people with disability in Swansea {a fantastic way to build confidence and coordination} was funded by George Michael for the first few years until it got on its feet....now he has sadly passed the amazing generosity of the man can be revealed.

The Telegraph has just published an article about George Michael's death which if wrong will deeply upset his family, friends and fans, and if right will deeply upset his family, friends and fans.

If it was an article in the more lurid papers I wouldn't post a link.

Link to the Telegraph article

I read it El Loro ....how sad to have so much and yet so little
