Baz

well done you getting on your feet at last. I bet it felt really odd doing this after so long. How nice you have a friend who is a nurse who came to help you. You were certainly busy too, so hope you rested well with the great Friday night tv shows you enjoy.

Hicky

Your OH certainly had an early start to her shopping visit, but sounds like there was no messing around, pile it in the trolley and leave.   At least you are well stocked up now.

Disney characters in the street, as well as Bingo, gosh your street certainly like a bit of a party.   Hope they socially distanced, I'd be like you though and keep well away.

That's good your package finally turned up.

Think you had a better day there than we did here weather wise. Much cooler and drizzly, then quite heavy rain for awhile, so didn't go out today. Its a long day when I can't get in the garden, so I feel for those stuck in flats, and poor Baz who hasn't been mobile. Hopefully we have some good weather to come.

Played some card games with the family after tea, so that gave us something to do for awhile. Drama son has his General Knowledge quiz again tonight, so thats nice for him to keep in touch with his friends.

My son had an online game given to him from a friend he games with in Germany for his birthday. What a different smaller world we live in now, where we can have friends anywhere in the world and play with them online, and even buy them a pressie online.

Recorded Gogglebox as I watched Vera tonight.

Goodnight both xxx

Evening Mollie.

A miserable day here with cloud and light rain, 11c and a gentle breeze.

Had bacon, egg, mushroom, black pud, tomato, beans and toast for brekkie.

Slept 133 hrs last night.

Had a vid call from Oz this morning, great, love it.

Yes, o/h did a big shop, she doubled up on everything, so much, and of course she know where everything is which is handy.

The bloke who does the street music is a DJ party entertainer for children's parties so he has all the gear.

We are sending a parcel to Oz for the granddaughter just some legging, socks and tops, i filled an online form in from DPD online, got the labels printed and they pick it up Monday.

I realised i missed BGT last week so got it on ITV Hub and watched it, i'll see it tonight anyway, just Watching Jane now on her travels.

Its good that you can all play games, and your lad, thats good for him as well, nice having friends abroad, and getting presents.

Did Dan Dan Noodles for tea, wow, nice.

Stay in and stay safe.

Hicky

Baz

hope you are managing ok with the partial weight bearing, and that you enjoyed your Friday night tv.

Hicky

that was a nice long sleep for you last night.

Pity the weather was not so good today, it wasn't here either. Suddenly gone grey and cold. But so nice you got a video call today, so got to see the family.

That will be a nice surprise for the family to get a little gift for your grandaughter. Handy you can send it without leaving the house too.

Glad you enjoyed your Dandan noodles.

I had curry lentils and the family had Madras chicken tonight. Followed by daughter's bread amd bitter pudding that she made with the left over bread and old raisins that she soaked in water to bring them back to life.

Went a short walk to the post box tonight to post a cheque my aunt had sent us for our birthdays.

Time to watch BGT.

Goodnight both xxx

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky Hope you are both having a good Sunday . Quite sunny here , but a bit breezy . My big news is that I got my jeans on today , for the first time since my accident ....and the extra bonus is that they are looser

Mollie , did you enjoy Gogglebox ? I thought it was definitely funnier than last week ....especially Jenny and Lee I’ve never really watched bgt ...but that guy they showed on Gogglebox Hicky , glad you had a video link with your son . I can’t remember if you watch Masterchef ....but if you do , what did you think of the winner ?

Anyway, not much worth watching on the tv tonight, but I hope you both have a good evening . Take care

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz. :

We are a bit out of step again Mollie, probably with me going to bed early, tv so boring.

Weather better today 17c & sunny, had a nice breakie, made a toasty with chunky chili-lilli-pickle between 2 layers of boiled ham and with layered grated cheese between the ham and 2 slices of bread, fitted into a toasty bag and toasted, yummy.

For tea i had more of the Dan Dan Noodles with the rest of the crispy chili beef, nice.

It won't be a surprise for the family getting a gift because they got a notification even before the package is collected, the best of DPD is that the parcel is trackable and they give you an hours timing of collection or delivery, and the last one i got i could follow the driver and see which parcel he was delivering and the parcel number, say 29 and i was say 39 and you see a satellite view.

That was nice all having a curry of one type or another, good to go for a short walk as well.

Evening Baz, that was good managing to get your Jeans on, you will have lost weight being non mobile causes muscle loss through lack of movement.

I stopped watching Masterchef, i watched BGT that was ok, well i recorded part as i have to skip adverts, on Masterchef they are less interested in the food and the cooking they are more interested in the colours, the layout, the seasoning. they really just want it too look good on TV

Hope you all stay in as much as possible and stay safe.

Aaaww Baz... so glad to hear you passed another milestone and managed to put your jeans on.   ...and as they are looser now, does that mean you can treat yourself to a bit of choccy?

Yes I did think Gogglebox was funnier this week, Jenny and Lee, don't know how they manage to be so funny each week!   I too thought the 2 sisters (the ones who wear headscarves) were so funny when they played that game of throwing the coin in the cup.   And the lady with the HUGE t shirt, that is the sort of thing I do, I always think clothes aren't going to fit me and order huge sizes.

I have been watching the period drama on itv on Sunday nights, it has been very good, Great scenery and costumes.

I think you would lilke BGT.

Hicky

I am sure you will manage to hunt me down if we do end up a bit out of step whilst you have an early night.  I sometimes take an early night too if I get bored with tv or if the arthritis gets too achy.

That sounds a tasty toastie for brekkie.

That's great you can track the parcel as it goes along. I bet you will get to see your little grandaughter wearing the stuff via skype.

We had lovely weather today too, so I got to sit in the swingchair. Both lads felt like a walk out today, so we just walked with OH and doggie to the local mercedes garage and they with OH looked at the cars. But they were all around ÂĢ25k! One was nearly ÂĢ50k!

Family had chicken strips with veg and I had cheesy sauce that son made me with veg, it was delicous. Then some more bread and butter pudding daughter made me.

Weather forecast looking good for next week thankfully.

Goodnight both xxx

M

Evening Mollie & Everyone.e17c today sunny and a moderate breeze.

Had bacon done on the BBQ today, put it on toast, nice.

Did a bit of shoot supporting in the greenhouse, pity shoots don't grow the way you want them to.

The paecel is on it's way to Oz, it was strange, i was expecting the DPD van at 1.40pm but a white van came at 12.55 for the parcel, i gave it to him, at 1.48 a DPD van arrived for the parcel, i said it has been picked up, he said by a black man, i said yes, he said thats ok then and went.

Then my Amazon parcel came, the Loaf tins.

I made 12 Jam tarts using a roll of shortbread pastry, nice.

For tea had 2 of the stuffed peppers, very nice.

Yes, we will be able to see granddaughter wearing the clothes, it will probably take a week.

Yes, Mercedes are not cheap, it depends on how old, that drives the price.

Cheese sauce and butter pudding, you are spoilt.

Have a good day, good evening and stay safe.

Hicky

both xxx

Baz

hope you are coming on well, and getting more comfortable.

Hicky

hope your shoot support works well and you get good results.

That's ood about the parcel, but its good you can track it with them now.

Jam tarts, very tasty.   What flavour were they?

Son made yummy mac cheese for tea for all 5 of us tonight. Then we played the throw the blow up pigs game in the garden and took doggie a walk to the garage again. I saw a car reduced from ÂĢ60k to ÂĢ50k.

Goodnight both xxx

M

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky Hope you are both keeping well . It’s been quite a day chez Baz

I had a busy morning😂I scooted upstairs on my bum and put the water on using the mop handle ...shuffled into the upstairs bathroom ( again on my bum😂😂) cleaned the loo and manhandled some stuff I wanted off the bathroom shelf ...again from the  floor and with the mop handle . Only small things I know but it feels so good to finally get some control back ...so go me 👏ðŸŧ👏ðŸŧ👏ðŸŧ👏ðŸŧ😂😂😂I just wish I had another walker upstairs ...it's so much easier ! Then I bum shuffled into the spare bedroom and got something I wanted out of the wardrobe   I camE down to earth with a bump ...figuratively not literally .A bit then , cos I had to change my dressing But my biggest success is that ....wait for it ......I’ve been outside I walked the whole length of the patio .....obviously with the walker .....but it was lovely  And only another two weeks and I can fully weight bear . The only downside is that the darn bin men never emptied my bin cos my friend left it a fraction too far up the drive!

Mollie , my husband had a Mercedes He inherited some money from a relative about 2 years before he died , and he had always dreamed of owning one , so I said go for it It was nowhere near as much as the ones you saw , but it gave him a lot of pleasure ....and he was still driving it up to 2 weeks before he died , so I’m really pleased he had his wish. The swing chair sounds nice . We used to have one , but it got old and tatty and we never replaced it   Hicky , glad your various parcels got sorted safely ....but sounds a bit of a palaver

Anyway, have a good evening both of you , and take care

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Another rather nice day here at 18c with sun and a moderate breeze.

Had sausages on the BBQ this morning, and for tea we had Burgers and sausages.

Mollie.

Have been working on the growth of the greenhouse vine, it is advised to stop the shoot 2 leaves after the fruit trusses, or stop it after 2 leaves if it has no fruit truss.

The Jam i used was Damson, we do have a choice but that was chosen.

Mac & Cheese for 5 is quite a big job, good on him.

Blow up pigs game, never heard of it.

Baz. You made me dizzy just reading what you were doing upstairs, heavens, the poor Mop Handle, a lifesaver it seems.

Yes, only a couple more weeks, it will soon go, you make sure you don't go hurting it again.

Oh dear, didn't the person who put the bin out know where it should go.

Had more problems with the DPD tracker app, i couldn't track the parcel i sent, o/h went on nthe Tablet onto the online site, entered a number and it told her everything, but that was the wrong number, there are 3 numbers, i tried to put the same umber in on my mobile but i could only use numbers and the number she used started with DPD so i couldn't put it in.

Stay in and stay safe.

Hicky

Baz

welll done you bum shuffler you. I bet you were exhausted after all that. You will end up with big muscles in places you never had before.

Pity you don't have a walker upstairs. Could you ask an OT to sort one for you, or get one from Amazon. (not sure how expensive they are though?).

And how exciting that you took your first walk (since your accident) in your garden. You have had a busy day today.

Thank goodness it is only another 2 weeks until you can fully weight bear.

That is a shame they didn't empty your bin for something so trivial.

Aaaww how sweet your hubby did get that Mercedes to enjoy. I think the garage we see them in are new or nearly new. Lovely looking cars they are.

If you can locate one online, a swingchair might be nice for you whilst you are getting your walking strength back. I find it good for my arthritis as it is a gentle exercise,  as well as it being relaxing.

Hicky

Double sausage meals today for you I see.

Glad you too got the good weather and I see your greenhouse vine is keeping you busy.

What a shame the DPD tracker isn't working for you.

It was a lovely day here today too. Sat on swingchair and after tea my shopping delivery came from Morrisons. I was very pleased as they subbed the things they didn't have, and there was not too many things missing.

I had my first British strawberries from them and they were delicous. We can only order 1 pummet at a time though, so with 5 of us we don't get many!

Good forecast again tomorrow which is good.

OH is busy working on the soil and planting some more potatoes.

Watched Part 2 of an itv drama tonight.

Goodnight both xxx

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Hope you are OK Baz and managing to get around ok, do be careful.

The gardener was next door again today, was chatting while he worked, talking about the plans for the fake grass area and how to work it out, sorted, and i'm saving him some of the seedlings/plants i am growing, he wants to grow veg this year.

Had bacon on the bbq again, yummy.

O/H made a lamb roast dinner today for tea, nice.

Glad you got your delivery from Morrison's, you needed that.

Yes, 1 punnet doesn't go far at all.

I planted a few more spuds yesterday, it was a pack we had and were going to eat but they started having shoots so decided to plant them.

Once you start planting veg etc it takes over your life.

Keep happy, keep safe and keep watching for the end of this nightmare.

Thanks Baz.

I managed to see it, but as I didn't know it was on till late,so  I didn't make it to the forum. Will look now to see if I can find the posts there now though.

Never watched it before but really enjoyed it. Hope you did too.

Hope you are feeling ok today and managing to get around.xxx

M

HIcky

that's nice you managed to sort things out with the gardener. At least he will be able to call on your experience for growing veg.

Nice treat for your OH to make you a roast dinner.

Son made us some flatbread pizzas for tea tonight. Very nice. I had mine with salad and coleslaw.

Very warm today, sat on swingchair and read my book for awhile. Got all my sheets dry on the line. Took dog a short walk round the estate.

Yes wish we could get out of this now, its like living in a real life horror film every time you watch the news.

Goodnight both xxx

off to try and find Baz's sewing bee forum.

Hicky I think you would of liked it, they are very talented and there are lots of young very pretty models on it.

M

Hi Baz and Hicky

hope you are managing round the house Baz with your partial weight bearing.

Hicky

I expect you have been busy in your garden today.

Nice day here again, so I got on the swingchair and read my book for awhile.

Had cheese and onion flan with little new potatoes and veg for tea. Then strawberries and melted choc. Yum.

TV time now, but not much on tonight. Might watch recordings.

Goodnight both xxx

M

Evening Mollie.

Hope all is well with you Baz and you are managing OK.

A great day weather-wise, 24c in the garden shade, sun all day and no wind to talk of, ideal for me.

Had 3 fried eggs on toast for brekkie.

Filled the 5 20L Hydroponic buckets with rain water, the water butts have an adaptor i put on so i can just plug a hose pipe on, i have 2 butts totl of 400L so that was easy.

Have put up the cords to support the tomato plants when they go in in May.

For tea found a meal, it was sliced Rib Beef in rich gravy so baked a big spud, very nice.

Just been clapping on the step, the feller is always there playing music and talking on the mic.

I have found that to cut down on bread waste if i just take out of the freezer the amount of rounds i am going to eat then the loaves i have will last a good time, so easy isn't it.

I've got 7 types of veg for the gardener, will ask how many he wants of each as i have plenty really.

The Onion sets i planted have all come up, potatoes that i planted, the Vivaldi are growing well, and i can pick some early or leave them in the ground and they will carry on growing and stay fine.

Am trying to get to bed by 10pm these days so i can get up in the morning, by 9am.

Keep smiling, keep your distance, keep safe and sleep well.

Hicky

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Lovely day here again . My friend , the nurse , brought me round some more dressings , so we sat out in the garden for a while  ..socially distant of course ..The wounds are healing well .....if it wasn’t for having to wear the boot ....I could leave the dressings off more . Anyway , apart from that , I cleaned the kitchen , washed and ironed .....and ,mon my bum shuffle up the stairs this morning, I brought my T-shirt’s downstairs .....luckily they were in a low drawer , so it’s bound to be raining tomorrow  Hope you are both having a good day , whatever you’re doing

Mollie , glad you enjoyed Sewing Bee , and found the thread ok Gogglebox to look forward to tonight Hicky , once again the idea of your roast lamb dinner, and bacon  has made my mouth water So much so , that I’ve just added lamb chops to my shopping delivery this week

Anyway , I hope you both have a good evening . Take care

Baz

Evening Baz.

Another glorious day here 20c or more sunny with a gentle breeze.

Had ham salad for brekkie topped with clili mustart oil pickle.

So much filling i had to wrap them in clingfilm, it works a treat.

Put the Walnut tree which was in a bucket into the 125L tub i had prepared for it.

Took another curry from the freezer stock, made a rice cake to have with it.

Might make some cake tomorrow, got some ready mix packs to try.

Glad you got more dressings, as long as you are able to fit it thats great.

It's nice being able to sit in the garden and have a chat.

You need to be careful going up and down stairs.

The best lamb is the Rack of Lamb, they are so tender i always get them if possible, mind you you need the whole sheet to yourself.

That's what you call a Rack of Lamb

Keep safe and sleep tight.

Hicky

Evening Everyone.

Another lovely day here 19c sunny intervals with a gentle breeze.

Had bacon off the bbq again on toast, yummy.

The bloke in the road been playing musical games all afternoon 2 - 5pm, the police van been round twice, loads of people from the local roads playing, they bring seats etc.

For tea found a Thai Red Curry, added a bag of prawns and baked 2 spuds to have with it.

Been doing bits in the garden, put some seedling out in the sun.

Baked a tray of choc chip Muffins, will post pic.

Hope all well with you, keep safe and stay happy.

Choc Chip Muffins.
Choc Chip Muffins, one was eaten during testing.

so pleased you got a bit of company today and that the wound is healing nicely.

Sounds like you have been quite busy today, and are all set up for summer now you have your tshirts to hand.

at Hicky influencing you shopping list. Did you manage to get Sainsburys again? I have tried lots of times with them, but can't get a slot at all. Never mind, managed to get a tesco one tomorrow. Got it last minute so someone must of cancelled.

Hicky

Your muffins look good. Hope they passed the eating test when you tried the 1st one  and that your OH also likes them.

Glad the weather was ok for you to do a few things in the garden.

Gosh that was a fair bit of partying in your road. Sounds like the police were checking they were keeping to social distancing.

Son made flat bread pizza for tea and I had salad and potato salad with it.

We played the card game Uno after, which is quite good.

Took doggie a little walk around the industrial estate as it was so quite and is on the edge of the country, lots of bird song. We too noticed the strong policie pressence driving around.

We have pigeons and robins feeding off OH's bird table now every day , which is lovely.

Enjoyed BGT.

Evening Mollie.

Cooler here today with 15c and cloudy with a gentle breeze.

I'll see if i can post my brekkie, no it won't, it was 2 eggs, 2 sausage, beans on toast.

O/H made a lovely Belly Pork roast dinner, yummy, she made apple sauce to go with it and some apple pies as well.

Still no Sainsbury's slot, o/h is going to have to go to the store herself.

The loads partying in the road had bottles of wine and certainly were not social distancing.

Pizza for tea is good, my best is always cheese.

That was a good walk you had.

Once you start with a bird table you will find more and more birds etc will visit.ITV2 10pm tonight has some Masked Singers i believe on Home Alone with Joel Dommett.

Stay safe, sleep tight.

hope you have had a pleasant day and are getting around ok even though it is only partial weight bearing for awhile yet.

Hicky

shame you couldn't post your brekkie piccie  as it certainly sounds a nice hearty one.

Your dinner sounds a nice treat c/o your other half. I love apple pie, haven't had one for ages. Did she make her own pastry or did she have a frozen one. I did think about trying a frozen pastry some time.

Yes it seems impossible to get a Sainsburys slot, but have you tried the click and collect?  At least your OH wouldn't have to go into the store and get it all then. Our store started it recently and it is free.

Sounds like the wine is making your neighbours careless with the social distancing. I am sure you want to keep well away from them now.

It was a nice hot and sunny day today, but I think it is due to change to cool and rain tomorrow.

OH did a BBQ today. Family had sausage and chicken kebabs and I had halloumi, veggie burger, onions and salad.

Just watching recordings as couldn't find anything interesting on tv.

Afternoon Mollie and Hicky  Another busy day chez Baz ....but guess what .....I actually had a wash upstairs in my bathroom  today ....and then lay on my bed ......I never realised what joy could be had from such simple things So , no more washing in the sink for me Apart from that I’ve done two loads of washing , had a tidy up , fed the birds , and even pulled a couple of weeds up Now I don’t intend moving from the sofa ! Hope everyone else is having either , an equally productive , or a relaxing day

Mollie , hope you and yours are keeping well .....yes , I got my Sainsbury delivery again ....it came yesterday ....and as I no longer have a carer coming in ..... for the first time I antibacterial it and put  it away . It took me a while , but I did it Hicky , that rack of lamb looks yummy ....fair made my mouth water I did order a couple of chops this week ....so looking forward to having them tomorrow By the way , it’s Gaga 11th anniversary today ...and Lori did a thread on the big brother forum .....and I hope you don’t mind , I included Emptybox in those FMs who are gone but not forgotten

Tonight’s viewing for me is Mary Beard on bbc4 and Yorkshire a year in the wild I hope you both have a good evening ....take care

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Cooler today at 13c with sunny intervals and a gentle breeze.

Had bacon on the bbq today on toast and for tea had bacon ribs then another meal from stock, sliced beef, boiled some salad spuds and made some gravy.

Mollie. The apple pies were made using ready made pack of pastry, on her last visit to the stores she got 2 packs of puff and 2 of shortbread, it was in the fridge.

O/H is going to Sainsbury's for a shop in the morning, i have an appointment at the eye clinic at 10.50.

That bbq sounds good, ideal this weather, keeps the kitchen cleaner as well.

Had ordered a new Microwave, coming Friday, other one making a noise when the table is turning, maybe a gear or a tooth broke on a cog, also the 7 segment display has bits missing.

Baz, wow, you are doing so well, but please be careful, at least you got to lay on your bed.

Watching The Farmers Country Showdown.

That was nice of Lori, yes Emptybox will never be forgotten, but will always be missed, i went and posted on that thread.

O/H went to the farm for fruit and meats etc, got all i asked for, 1kg of each sausage, bacon back smoked and unsmoked.

Weather miserable today and cool at 9c with rain.

Had fried sliced salad spuds with Asparagus and egg for brekkie, for tea had chopped ribeye steak wit balti curry and rice.

Stay safe and happy.

that is really good  you have at last made it upstairs to your bed and bathroom and was also able to get a few things done at home too, sounds like you have been very busy, so don't overdo it.

And well done getting your shopping cleansed and put away yourself now. Will you miss the carer now she doens't come or did you get different ones rather than the same one?

Aaaww that is so nice of you to think of including Emptybox in the forum's 11th brithday. Thank you.   I will go and look for it when I have finished this post.

Hicky

glad to hear your eye appointment went well and there was no bleeding now. Did OH take you there? Hope they didn't leave you waiting too long.

That's good your OH was able to get to the farm for your order. Did she get to Sainsburys too or was the farm instead?

Didn't post yesterday as I got a headache, think it might be due to hay fever allergies, so have taken an antihistamine the doc gave me.

Weather not so good here either today, rain on and off, not too cold but nowhere as near warm as it has been.

Not keen on tv tonight, think I will watch some recordings.

I had a goats cheese and butternut squash lattice for tea with veg , very nice. then strawberies and metled choc for desert.

Well it’s a goo nights viewing for me tonight ...Great British Menu...Sewing Bee ...and Building the Dream Have a good evening ....stay safe ....and hopefully see you later Mollie

Baz

Evening Mollie & Baz.

12c here today with light rain showers and a moderate breeze.

Had Black Pud, Bacon and eggs for brekkie with spicy chicken wings for tea, added the spice myself of course.

Did a practice run today taking out the Microwave to see it comes out ok for Friday, put it back again till Thursday night, new one arrives Friday morning.

My 1kg of big Kirkland salted peanuts came the other day, 1% salt so thats good.

Mollie, O/H took me to the hospital dropped me off and went to the farm shop, i rang her when i was finished

I managed to get a click and collect from Sainsbury's, o/h will go and collect it Friday morning, i don't need much as i have loads still in stock.

Hay Fever is such a problem if you suffer from it, strange how some and other don't.

My Lad in Oz's Birthday today he is 41 and another lads Birthday next month, same day, he was due to spend it on the Maldives but had to cancel, he wanted to wake up on the beach, he has been working all the time as he has to hand over a ÂĢ60m school, but it has had toi be extended due the virus problem.

I have Kiwi, Pears, Strawberries, Raspberries and Blueberries so i am ok.

Baz, Yes, enjoy the Farm Showdown, can always turn to recordings, have so many.

No don't you take a chance in the wet, if you fall now it could ut you right back.

Yes it must be lovely to get back into your own bathroom, slowly getting back to normal.

I watched some of sewing bee last week but had to give in, i don't like it, they give them stuff to do knowing some will mess up, they aren't looking at the sewing of course, they are looking at the material, it should be called tailoring or dress making, nothing to do with sewing.

I stopped watching the Great British Menu because it is pretty stupid, cooking to a theme, i don't get it, nothing to do with the food, they are only interested if it meqts the brief, is seasoned enough, is the right colour, is it showy enough for the celebration.

Stay happy, stay in and stay safe.

that's good that despite the rain you were still able to manage to get to feed the birds. And glad to hear you are still appreciating using your bathroom.

Thanks for the Sewing Bee reminder, providing I don't get interrupted..eg doggie barking to go out or for food,  I plan to join you on the thread.

Hicky

Thats good you are all sorted for you new microwave's arrival.

The Kirkland stuff is so good, so I am sure you will enjoy your peanuts.

That's good you at least managed  Sainsbury click and collect, shouldn't take your OH to just pick it up then.

Happy Birthday to your lad in Oz. Pity he missed out on his Maldives holiday, hopefully he will get to go away some other time.

Not decent weather here either today, butcould of been worse as it did stop raining later on in the day.

Son made some delcious Yorkshire puds for tea tonight to go with their chicken and for me, my veg which I enjoyed. We then had a hot Portugese custard tart that I bought from Costco and had in the freezer.

Evening Mollie.

12c today, light rain showers and a moderate breeze.

Had bacon on the bbq today on toast, yummy.

For tea i sliced up some ribeye steak, fried in the wok then fried a microwave pack of thin chips and for a sauce got a butter sauce from the freezer, wow, so nice.

Didn't do any work outside as it was rain or damp all day.

Made a tray of choc chip cookies, but i spaceds them wrong on the tray, i should have only put half of them on the tray instead of the 15 i made.

I will post the picture.

Yes, love the Kirkland stuff, it all comes from the US.

Hopefully we will get the Sainsbury's food tomorrow when o/h picks it up.

It was a different Lad that has a birthday next month and was going to spend it on the beach in the Maldives, he will be 40, the one in Oz was 41.

You are getting well fed anyway, it's handy having son cooking.

Keep safe.

hope you are well and enjoying your tv now.

Pity the weather wasn't good enough for you to get outside.

It wasn't very good here either. The drizzle did stop later though, so we took doggie a little walk. The wind was very cold. But at least it was dry.

thanks for the photo. ....shame you spaced the cookies incorrectly, did they taste ok though?

Your sons are very close in age, I bet the kiddies kept you and OH busy growing up.

For tea son fried some hallumin we got from Costco awhile ago and we had it with wraps and salad. Very nice it was. Then I had some strawberries and cream with Percy Pig sauce I bought awhile ago from M and S, and short bread bicie.   Delicous.

Watching Marigold Hotel , the show where celebs go to India. Quite interesting.

Evening Mollie & Baz.

Quite a busy day here today, weather not too bad with 13c and sunny intervals but with a fresh breeze.

Had 3 eggs on 3 rounds of fresh bread, yummy, fold over each and a little seasoning.

The Microwave arrived, it didn't have a plug on it so had to find one and fit, fitted the unit, all working.

O/H went to get the collect slot and brought a load of shopping back.

One of my lads dropped by with a bag of self raising flour.

Started to plant the seedlings out now, will take a few days.

Had a vid from Oz with little one saying Nana & Grandad, Ah, she is so beautiful, wow.

Mollie, Yes, the cookies are very nice, a lot better than expecting.

The 3 lads were born in 4 years 77 to 80, yes, a handful.

I've been told about putting grated Hallumi cheese over dish of soup.

I'm going to have some fruit, i have loads now.

Watched the Marrigold Hotel, good.

Baz, Glad you got to sleep in your Bed, great stuff.

Yes, as mentioned, the Microwave arrived at about 10.15am as promised, have registered for the extra 4 years guarantee.

I will watch Monty tonight.

Have a good night and sleep tight, stay safe and happy.

that's brilliant you are back in your own bed again at last. I bet it felt so nice and comfy to you.  You are doin well mnaging a bit of clearing up and some washing.

Yes I did enjoy the sewing thread thank you. Luckily that night I didn't get interrupted by the family or doggie during the show.

If I manage to get organised and it is not an interrupted night I will try and look you up on Marigold night.

Hicky

that was a bit annoying that the microwave came minus a plug. Good job you have a spare though, and good it is working fine.

How lovely you got to see your cute grandaughter talking to you.

How did your OH find Sainsburys click and collect?  Do she just pack it from the trolley in the car park? I know some shops put it straight in the boot for you. That's good you are well stocked up now from Sainsburys and the flour from your lad. Did he manage to get some from his local supermarket? Or online?

I thought those cookies would taste nice.

Yes 3 boys in 4 years is hard work, I had 3 in 5 years, and even that kept me busy.  I had a double pushchair for the 2 youngest.

Not too bad today, just a bit of rain tonight, and a bit of sun in the day, but a strong wind when we took the dog a little walk. Got 4 washloads dried nicely on the line today.

Drama son had an online Bingo game with his drama group last night and tonight is their quiz night, so at least it keeps him in contact with his mates until their drama club can start up again. I think it is going to be a long time before any entertainment can be started up again though.

Watched Gogglebox tonight , love that show.

Goodnight both xxx

Evening Mollie.

Had to take a plug off one of my extension reels, all the other spare units with plugs are molded on so can't be removed, i'll buy some spare plugs.

At the click and collect, the van that does deliveries stops in the carpark and you get the bags off the van, it needs the special van as some has to be either refridgerated or frozen, but she thought she ticked/unticked to say no substituted items, but that didn't work.

Not sure where Lad got the flour, he could only get 2 so we had one each, it was probably Sainsbury's.

With having 3 lads we kept losing one as we can really only walk with one each and one in the wheelchair/buggy but he kept disappearing, undoing the straps.

O/H did my washing again, not sure why, but very handy.

That is handy for your drama lad keeping in touch with his friends, yes with this social distancing it is a big problem for Drama, apart from the actors you have the audience.

Goodnight sleep tight, stay warm, stay in and stay safe.

Breaking News.

The Japanese professor of physiology or medicine, Professor Dr Tasuku Honjo, caused a sensation today in the media by saying that the corona virus is not natural.  if it is natural, it will not have affected the whole world like that.  Because, depending on the nature, the temperature is different in different countries.  if it were natural, it would only have affected countries with the same temperature as China.  instead, it spreads to a country like Switzerland, the same way it spreads to desert areas.  whereas if it were natural, it would have spread in cold places, but would have died in hot places.  I have done 40 years of research on animals and viruses.  It is not natural.  It is manufactured and the virus is completely artificial.  I have been working for 4 years in the Wuhan laboratory in China.  I know all the staff of this laboratory well.  I called them all after the Corona accident.  but, all of their phones have been dead for 3 months.  It is now understood that all of these laboratory technicians are dead.

Based on all of my knowledge and research to date, I can say this with 100% confidence that Corona is not natural.  It did not come from bats.  China made it.  if what I say today turns out to be false now or even after I die, the government can withdraw my Nobel Prize.  but China is lying and this truth will one day be revealed to all.

PLEASE FORWARD TO THE LARGEST NUMBER SO THAT THE GUILTY MUST PAY WHAT HAPPENS TO US ALL !!!!

Evening All.

Hope you are staying safe and well Mollie & Baz.

13c here today sunny intervals and a moderate breeze.

Had sausages on toast for brekkie.

Planted some carrot seeds, 1 type in 1 tub and one type from the USA in another, have got a square of netting over each tub to stop the birds digging, usually the blackbirds.

For tea decided on making a hot and sour soup, it makes 880 ml and i had 2 portions and saved 1, added a sliced up half chicken breast, some peas, onion and chopped up chilies, some cornflour and an egg, pretty darn hot.

I sent a picture of my pudding which was in a white bowl, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and sliced up bananas with loads of ice cream, my lad in Manchester said, are you on a cruise. Lol.

Got loads more planting to do hopefully it's nice tomorrow

Had a vid call with Oz, G.Daughter playing on her learning machine, like a tablet thingy, she is so good on it.

Stay happy and keep safe.

hope you are feeling ok and managing to get round the house ok.

Hicky

yes I can just imagine why you kept losing one of the lads when they were small. I used to have one of those straps that tied round my wrist and one of my lads  when they were small. Oddly enough I never needed to do that for my daughter. But she did used to get up to mischief too with her brothers.

Shame your OH forgot to tick the no subs bit, as I know since we got this damn virus here, you understandably can't return subs to the driver.

Hope your carrot seeds do well. My OH's are growing well but being 1st time, he's not sure how they will do eventually.

at your cruise type pudding. Sounds delicious.

For tea I had pizza flat bread with new potatos, very nice. And a caramel chocolate ice lolly for desert.

Enjoyed BGT tonight.

Goodnight both xxx

Evening Mollie.

Yes, 2 of you taking the 3 out was a challenge to keep your eye on them, a lot easier with just 2 as you can watch 1 each.

O/H said she unticked all the Sub boxes and ticked or un-ticked the no Sub box at the end, so no idea what happened.

Got lots of seedlings to plant, will start tomorrow if weather good, loads of big onions, celery, got to put the feed in the 20L Hydroponic buckets as well, it has to be measured out, 3 packs of contents, so many grams of each in each of 5 buckets, then i have to sort the 5 10L buckets.

The fruit and ice cream was really nice, will try another combination tomorrow, have lots of Kiwi, bananas and pears so that will be nice.

Pizza i always good, love the 3 cheese one best.

On BGT only really liked the Magic, that was good.

Sleep tight and stay safe.

I'm late to bed tonight.

Hicky
