I loved them when I was younger, Dickens, Bronte's, Jane Austen, R L Stephenson....  hated Wuthering Heights

I’ve read lots of Dickens but not Hard Times 

wasn't a fan - too condensed a style for me -just read what I had to study  

I can confirm .....sticking your socks in the freezer works ....it’s bliss
