Shame Geoff Hamilton wasn't around

He was a nice man and a good gardener

My first experience of GW presenters was Percy Thrower, watching the show with the family as a young boy. But I do remember GH as well. Watching GW was at a time when there were not many channels on TV so we watched what the parents wanted.

This 'single use' tag is really annoying me in general. I have never used my bags just one. My last Sainsbury's bag last over 6 months before it gave up the ghost and had to be replaced. Not bad going for a bag that is used 5 days a week.

I have hessian and cotton bags for shopping but on the rare occasion I have to buy a bag, it is always reused, time and again.

I use hemp, it's a way of using the bi-product of all the drugs I cultivate.

You can also make beauty products out of hemp.

Why don't we go back to biodegradable paper bags?

There must be a biological strengthening agent that gives the bags a limited useful life.

We already have biodegradable plastic bags

So why don't we have a law making them common place

Money probably â€Ķ then the rules change

My GW magazine comes in a compostable bag
