I'm so sorry to hear your news, Ricky. Coping with bereavement is hard enough when the person dies a natural death but, when they're snatched away like that, it so very much harder to comprehend or accept.

My deepest sympathy to you in your loss; may you find strength, peace and comfort in the months and years ahead and may your friend and her daughter Rest in Eternal Peace.

Frowner My father in law died of that a couple of years ago. He was only 64 but looked 20 years older. Horrible disease.

Well at least the older folk maybe believed that smoking wasn't that bad for them.

Now there really is no excuse.

Frowner and this kinda puts things into perspective.

I attended a 10yr olds funeral late last year, a classmate of my sons. She died of muscular dystrophy (sp?), so we knew it was coming, but it was still a shock. Tiny white coffin, with Rule the World by Take That playing... *eyesfillingupsmilie*.

I can't say be strong, cos I'm choked just remembering it.

All I can do is give you a virtual hug.. *hug*
