If you use Internet Explorer and cannot see avatars or Livecloud images on this forum, this is caused by IE's Privacy Protection System. Spider Monkey did create a thread to show how to overcome this problem, and I later posted an alternative way. Following the creation of the Hoop.la websites, this method needs to be amended. For those who looked at the recent poll on which theme was to be used, you would have not been able to see the pictures that Ted created, and it was because of this problem.
To overcome the problem follow these steps.
1 From IE's menu, from Tools, select Internet Options
2 Select the Privacy tab and then click on Sites which is about half way down
3 Find the text box with a label above it which says "Address of website"
(if livecloud.com is already shown in the list of allowed sites, then you can skip steps 4 and 5)
4 In that text box type livecloud.com
5 Then click on the Allow button
6 Next in the text box type hoop.la
7 Then click on the Allow button
8 At the bottom of the Privacy page, click on the OK button
9 Close the Internet Options page.
10 Refresh the page
And that's it
