German fixtures out today!! Do I go at my usual time and watch Hannover 69ers play Bremen, or should I wait a couple of weeks and watch 'em play those cheating Bavarians, Munich? Elsewhere I doubt that Warner is much more corrupt than all the others who have featured recently. If Europe don't hurry up and pull out of FIFA then one must come to the conclusion that we are corrupt too.

RZB (((hugs))) ltns. Hope you and yours are well mate.

I've just found out that Arsenal are closing their official online forum soon. Kronkes been in charge for 5 minutes and it's already going downhill - much like we knew it would.

I was wondering about trying to drop some hints about this place but then I'd be worried that it could get quite spiky.

I wish we had a lot more people here but I like the mellow vibe - especially in here

I think it starts this w/e. The German hosts are very excited since they have sold at least 670k of the 900k tickets available and half the games will have 20k+ gates.

I am Joe, there's an excellent article about Kelly Smith in todays Indy. I miss seeing her in an Arsenal shirt so much. Interesting that she cites her injuries as an accelarant to her drinking. I was reading somewhere that there is real concern about the mental state of players who are injured, how they are isolated from the team because they can't train together etc. I think that AW is looking into how we can keep our injured players integrated with the squad while they are out of action.

Has anyone seen these, some of them are hilarious. Look how fat the Rooney one is

Hey Veggie, the women do seem much more grounded than the men but then again they ain't surrounded by money etc and the ladies game isn't as big obviously.

Thought Arsenal were in talks over Gervinho? Not sure what is happening over Clichy neither but that defence needs sorting.  The likes of Denilson etc could still be there next season and even though there's no movement so far from Arsenal in the window how long will AW leave it?

Hi, all:

I know darlo is a Man United fan. I just heard on the radio yesterday that they are coming to play our Seattle Sounders!!

I'm pretty sure they will whip the pants off of us, but it should draw a lot of fans to the game.

*disclaimer* I don't really follow football all that much, so don't start any technical discussions with me.

Lori

Naughty Joe, who can this be that you are referring to?

Lori - you must go and see them. The little fat one who looks like Shrek is Wayne Rooney, the hairy one who sleeps with all the laydeez and gets his legal team to persecute Twitter users is Ryan Giggs and the ladyboy is Nani. You will know him by his miracle tactic of falling over rolling in agony whenever a player gets within 10 yards of him.

I'm sure Meaty or riverrock can provide you will suitable chants

I very much doubt anyone here cares about Hearts (I certainly don't), but I found this while looking up some player... It's honestly the weirdest club statement I've ever read in my entire life.

http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/arti...ment_2241384_2381659

Just a couple of chunks I've picked out....

"What's happening with the club today is not a new thing. For almost 7 years we have been fighting to shield the club from crooks, criminals and thieves."

and

"Mafia are dragging kids into the crime, in order to blackmail and profit on them. It is not possible to separate these people from pedophiles, and you don't need to do that. Each year we are forced to fight against these maniacs harder and harder."

Thought this described 95% of football players?

Thanks for the warning, Joe. I will maintain a discreet distance.

Well maybe 80%  There are a few who are so good at it that it becomes an art form.

Drogba from Chelsea is the one who gets my vote. He's built like a brick sh**house and yet the flapping of a butterfly in Peru manages to not only knock him off his feet but cause him to roll around screaming for at least 5 minutes.

There used to be a joke about someone hoovering when the footie was on the tele and knocking the coffee table with the hoover thereby causing him to fall over!!

They like their cheats out there.

Nope Nani is not going anywhere. He had already said that he was happy at United and but the press decided he was going to be sold regardless.

Udinese playing their bidding auction again.. Man City will be mad if they pay the Β£45 million the chairman is trying to demand for Alexis Sanchez. Barcelona want Fabregas and Giussepi Rossi too but can't afford all three...

The thing I like about football forums like that one is the line is usually so far away. By that I mean you can say what the hell you want, however offensive it may be and nothing happens, where as in this forum for example there is just a line that you know you don't cross, cos if you do, you know some forum members will probably end up topping themselves.

i read redcafe as well. Force of habit really. Even though I hardly follow Man U these days, certainly don't go to the matches like I did when I was a kid, but still regularly read redcafe.
