Steve Claridge said a true thing about the Baggies last night on the Football League show, most teams score and then try and hold the advantage, the Baggies play to score another goal as soon as possible, which makes for exciting football, but can be hell on earth for the fans!!  And what was Scott Carson doing out of the area just before we scored our first goal, we were so lucky there and that is how we are punished when we are in the PL, because no offence to Championship sides, you are up against the best forward players in the world in the PL and they will punish mistakes like that.

Joe, what is going wrong at 'Boro?  I really thought they were going to be, along with us the team to beat this season and Newcastle would struggle with all the problems they had had all summer, yet 'Boro are struggling and Strachan hasn't made a lot of difference yet.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, apart from when we play you again!!

Wigan's players have offered to refund supporters who travelled to Sunday's 9-1 thrashing at Tottenham.

The Latics crashed to the second worst defeat in Premier League history as they conceded eight second-half goals at White Hart Lane.

Defender Mario Melchiot admits the result was embarrassing and, along with the rest of his well-paid team-mates, will pay away fans the cost of tickets.

Perhaps Zabaleta can cough up for the crap job he did at Anfield...
