Was you there Pinky ? , they also played there in 1982, and lost again to QPR. We were awaiting the winners. ..
No I was too young my dad said in 1978, I had just gone 12 and he wouldn't take me and in 1982 when we played QPR, I was supposed to be revising for exams and spent the afternoon listening to the match instead, and 2 years ago, couldn't get a ticket for me, so my hubby went and nearly got divorced especially as before he met me he had gone to the Play off finals in '93, where Bob Taylor was cruelly robbed by Peter Swann!!!

Oh it was Darlo, even better at the time, we had just come back up and were struggling, so to beat Wolves (we did the double over them that season - first of a few in the '90's) was something really special for us.  That's why I couldn't get excited about the Cov match, it's not a local derby the same way as playing Wolves, Villa and Blues are.

Staffordshire derby tomorrow - come on Stoke

PB do you hope Brum and Wolves stay up and WBA go up, although there must obviously be something in you wanting the Dingles to go down.
Truth Darlo, I would like both to stay, I would like to see a Black Country Derby played in the PL, out of the two I would prefer Blues to go, but for Midlands football it would be great if us, Villa, Wolves and the Blues were all in the PL

, I hope they both stay up. You can feel the excitement when there is a Black Country game apart from some of the reports of idiots fighting that you get.

I think that is so out of order when teams do that to away fans, to my knowledge we don't but obviously as a home fan and member, I pay a set price for my seats.  I'd be interested to know if we do if anyone on here has been to the Hawthorns as an away fan and what they think about the ground, me I love it, but I would say that, but I did prefer the standing days.

I promise not to cry if you don't like it.

I hope Stoke stay up also.

Most teams nowadays are all after as much money they can get to look after themselves so thats why the prices going up, but doing that is a risk of riskingf the fans wrath and putting some people off going to watch the matches.

Prices at grounds like OT, Stamford Bridge etc must be really high for the way fans you would think they would be more fair towards the away fans coming to watch, seems not.
