We certainly do RZB, apparently Di Mat has been making the strikers train harder this week, it's ok saying goals are coming from others than the strikers, but we also need them to be able to consistently score goals as well, it's the only way out of the Championship, as there is so many good teams around us, we can't keep either conceding the first goal or having nil nil draws.
My first game was Liverpool at the Hawthorns.. my mates dad took us and we stood in the Brummie Road End.. happy days. Can't remember the score though!!

Twill be his third this season. TBH he seems a bit of a Jonah, it doesn't get any worse than the Leicester game, a boring game which was won by Leicester in the last minutes, plus we were told off by DIL for him repeating various new words and phrases.
The first season I took my son to the 'Boro was wonderful, standing in the Old Holgate and him having the intelligence not to repeat anything. Bit of an age difference though.

my first Spurs game was aginst West Ham, back in the days when you decided to go at the last minute, and paid in on the day, I think it may of been on a New Years Eve, Poured down all game, joke playing condidtions, Pat Jennings was in goal, we went 1-0 down, but ended up winning 2-1. Mid seventies.
My first game was Middlesbrough 2-2 Man City in Division 2 (old money) early sixties.
Son went to a few when Darlington spent a season in the Conference.
Grandson, Man Utd last season.

The first thing my son said when we got home from his first game, "daddy swears at football" sadly he never had the intelligence not to repeat what was said, Swearing at football is acceptable, given the results we were getting at the time.

That was my daughter, & it was when we lost 5-4 against Arsenal, and on the way out of the ground she asked was that a good or bad result, I thought, she's not getting this football malarky.
Swearing is totally acceptable at football. Especially Middlesbrough and Darlo. However DIL doesn't understand this.
I swear like anything at football, always have done, that's why I wouldn't ever sit in the family stand!!
Was a bit disappointed in a man last time I took my nephew though who proceeded to call Leon Barnett a F'ing see you next tuesday every time the kid went near the ball!! My nephew was a little shocked, but strangely he was shocked for me hearing the words!

it's an evicting offence at WHL, mind you so is smoking in the stands, which is a good thing.
Same now at the Hawthorns, both the swearing and smoking - how can you get through 90+ minutes of watching the Baggies without smoking and/or swearing??

Hi Disley, the mascot for Chelsea tomorrow is a relative of mine.
Getting there Coldy thanks, the sore throat has nearly gone along with the shivers, still got the temperature and still taking ibuprofen every 4 hours, but house to myself today so got to be ok, kids are out and hubby is at work, though he will pop home from time to time.

My brother who's a Chelsea fan, was first taken to the bridge by my uncle to get him out from under my Mum's feet when she had just had me, 40 plus years later he's still a season ticket holder, and blames me.

hi footie fans
my first match was Everton 'v' Man Utd when I was about 6 - Dad took us all along cos mum is a Man U fan and it was a birthday treat - all i remember is sitting in the stands and it was so high up and all the players looked like little ants and also sitting next to a bloke with a very loud clap and asking to swap places with my dad don't remember the score though - but it was back in the days when we used to win occasionally

Afternoon footyfans rzb barney pb coldy disley crossy
aye, North London derby, is it on telly? it must be...we're away to Burton Albion..can we make it 9 games unbeaten? our injury list is awful at the moment, couldnt even fill the subs bench last week and 3 of them were under 18!! and yet we're still 3 points off the play-off position with best away form in the league ...there, i've put the mockers on them now!
Man United and Blackburn...and our defence is shot to pieces
I don't remember my first match what with me being a baby.
But my dad likes to tell the story that Bolton scored, he threw his arms up in the air in celebration, forgetting he was holding me.
One of his mates had to catch me... Thanks dad...

Hello FF.
Sometimes I feel like i'm supporting two teams. I normally let my dad know any Baggies gossip, they've got to get back to winning ways.
