I am sad beyond belief that the paltry 50% of the season live on the BBC is not 0%. I am still inundating the BBC hierarchy with letters of complaint that they think it is a good idea to increase the Home Under the Hammer presenter budget by a third with the introduction of Dion Dublin, when the other two presenters have been doing a good job to date.

it is amazing how private the family have been able to keep this, good on them, i wasn't a fan of him as a driver, but hope that he can make a recovery, in not in full, to at least have some quality of life

Do you know anything about the new drivers anyone? I'm liking the Force    India line-up for my gang's F1 Fantasy League.

I'm afraid Schumacher played a large part in the state F1 is in now donks. Playing dirty became too tempting for many of the drivers.  But that aside I would never wish an athlete like him enduring his disability now. 

Anyone think the Haas team can do anything?   Given what he did in Indy races

F1 to end engine restrictions in bid to improve competition.

Formula 1 plans to remove restrictions on engine development for 2017.

The move, which has been agreed by the teams but still needs to be officially ratified, will mean the end of the complicated 'token' system.

Mercedes has dominated F1 since the introduction of turbo hybrid engines in 2014, winning the drivers' and constructors' championships for the past two seasons.

 

The hope is that freeing up development will allow rivals to catch up.

The 'token' system, which limited what can be done to engines and when, aimed to keep costs under control.

But senior figures feel it has introduced unnecessary complexity and restricted the ability of manufacturers to improve their engines.

This is the only new face really!

Governing body the FIA announced on Wednesday that a new qualifying system had been agreed that would feature the slowest car being eliminated every 90 seconds in three knock-out sections of qualifying.
