I have to admit I actually find train journeys relaxing ....it's the idea that you're sort of in limbo ....whatever troubles you just left ...or what ever trouble you are going to ....for the length of the journey it can't touch you

Absolutely! I love train journeys. I have a stack of 'em in the next few months including another trip to t'Fatherland. It is a form of escapism and I am finding life a tad stressful at the moment.

Absolutely! I love train journeys. I have a stack of 'em in the next few months including another trip to t'Fatherland. It is a form of escapism and I am finding life a tad stressful at the moment.
