Starts tonight at 9pm to 10.20pm Next episode is next Monday 9pm to 10pm,

In March, Channel 4 put 23 members of the public in a wild, 600-acre area of the Scottish Highlands. They will remain there, with no access to the outside world, for a year.

A Channel 4 statement says: "With no prescribed infrastructure, the group will take in with them only what they can carry and the basics needed to kick start their experience, including the tools of their trade. What they do and how they do it is up to them.

"The series aims to challenge everything about modern living, raising questions about what we need to be happy, what we want from our communities and how we are influenced by society as a whole."

The experience will be filmed by cameramen embedded in the group, ensuring that there is no outside influence. The participants, all of whom are single, bar one, will have to build their own shelters and source their own food. To aid the process, they were provided with basic building tools, as well as some animals and basic cooking ingredients and equipment.

Yes, on an uninhabited Scottish Island. Ben Fogle was on it.

That's it

I may be mean, but, it is great to be left out in the wilderness with a camera crew following you, just in case  you get fed up....or trip up.

Cynical I know, but I am getting a bit bored of people, pretending they are 'cutting edge' able to leave employment for lengths of time.....and hoping to be hailed as hard pressed pioneers......
