we did it and to be honest I do know how they are formed, but can't for the life of me remember what the cause is for river bank erosion or if there is one 

Passed me by completely, but I do remember being bored stiff at rubber plantations in Malaya😂

Saw it once...some idiot let a little dog of the leash in a wildfowl area....it dived into the river and tried to chase a swan....it reared up, wings spread and almost drowned it....the owners got a right bollocking from a fisherman who waded in to save it
