He was the cinemaographer/director of photographer of many well known films. These included Ealing classics such as Dead of Night, Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Lavender Hill Mob and The Man in the White Suit. Later films include The Lion in Winter, the original The Italian Job, and Julia (the Fred Zinnerman film which starred Julia Fonda and Vanessa Redgrave). Towards the end of his career he was the director of photography of the first three Indiana Jones films.

Very nice! Certainly one of his "classic"  scores... of which there are several!

Not yet listened to it as I am a prolific soundtrack purchaser. At the moment I have in the range of 60-70 soundtracks to play. I'm a big John Barry fan and have been buying up his back catalogue.

Have you heard John Williams score to Catch Me If You Can?

Love the opening credit tune.
