The little we were shown of the interactions between Marc and Jade was heavily edited, so it's difficult to say. I wasn't able to watch last night's HL show "live", so I got to read a lot of the comments on DS before watching my recording of it, and it was interesting to note that many of viewers comments (particularly the more Marc-positive ones) seemed to come from assumptions that weren't really supported by what we were shown.

Marc kept going on about people not getting his "banter", and in the middle of his talk with Jade he made a little observation of her throwing local "banter" back at him, so I think there's a danger of confusing cultural familiarity with personal familiarity.

That, plus the fact that they both seem to be working very rehearsed and contrived personalities, means that I'll have to see a lot more from both of them before I form any conclusions.

Very good post Eugene

It's true. Slagging and being able to take a slagging is important in Dublin [ and many other parts too ].

You're right we'd need to see a lot more, before we draw conclusions. People on DS were saying we've actually seen Jade genuinely laugh and smile more with Marc than any other HM   [later in the HLs that is].

For me it was the way he was sort of hinting that he knew more about her and was going to blow her cover
