Yep, there's no opposition that I can see

I reckon Starmer might be able to give them a run for their money Velvet ......although by the time of the next election who knows ......I think it will all depend on how soon things get back to normal.....and that depends on an effective vaccine .......so I’d say we are stuffed !

Velvet, it's crazy...

Baroness Dido Harding's record is pathetic, close friend of Matt Hancock and David Cameron. Former chief executive of Talk Talk when the data was breached, on the board of the jockey club who let the Cheltenham Festival go ahead. Head of the Track and Trace contract that Serco won, which has been an abysmal failure. Married to John Penrose MP who as close links to the 1828 think tank who wanted the PHE scrapped and who also want a private insurance based health scheme.....I really can't discuss politics at the minute, I hate this country more every day!

If you want to see just a tip of the iceberg of this governments' corruption browse at your leisure at the link I have put below, you won't find it on any news media outlet. It's not fake news, this is Jolyon Maugham QC.

For the first time in my life I will not be voting Labour, he's as bad as the rest...no integrity and at the minute the Labour party is as corrupt as the tories.

I read that and hope he's successful

How he got off with battering that fox to death - we still know.

Totally agree Velvet and I don't like the man myself, although I do agree with trying to stop this corrupt lot. He's one of the many blue ticks that didn't want socialism and constantly moaning about the shit show we have now...the country deserves all it gets

I caught a long piece on Channel 4 tonight about PHE. Apparently The Cock Institute heaped praise on PHE, the very same institute (well over 100 years old) that Hancock wants to model ours on.

I give up with this lot.

Not to mention the schools exams debacle. Did they not note what happened in Scotland ???

I think they did......eventually! And made a right mess of trying to be clever and deliver a 'better' solution!

Extremely Fluffy Fluffy Thing

I agree I was never a card-carrying Corbynite, I voted Corbyn over Andy Burnham at the very last minute.  I abstained when he was challenged.  At one point I thought "even Chuka would be better than this", however, I hoped the right of the party would get behind Corbyn after he did so much better than expected.  Sadly, the right of the party dripped its poison and sabotaged the party and preferred a Tory government.  I will not vote for Starmer.  He stabbed Rebbeca Long-Bailey in the back.  The Labour Party is broken and needs to split, take the true leftists (and trade union money) and form a new party.

New Labour?

ha, ha! I don't care what it's called.  The Labour Party's function now is to be temporary placeholders for the Tories until business as usual Tory government regain power.  If Bozo becomes unelectable, which is likely since he's so useless, the establishment and deep state want a b-team who'll hold the fort and not do anything that will frighten the elite until the Tories become electable again.
