This particular niece is lovely too though. Her mum disowned me for number of years and on account of her being somewhat of a nutter, I haven't spent a huge amount of time with her or her children over the years.  

I know her well enough, but we're not close.

Well all I can say is my GD turned out ok in the end And my son was similar ....he went down to live with his dad after he finished school,  , who effectively threw him out too , at about 17, so lived in a bedsit ....

Inchy just woke up from snoozing in the chair, looked around and said * the cakes gone* .....we haven't got any darn cakes .....he must have been dreaming !!
