Been to Laurie Lee's grave in Slad - said a fond hello and took a little memento of a small stone, lying there at the foot of his grave stone

Wished I was 10 again and was running through the woods

  I have two editions of this book

One remains sealed - I've had it more than 15yrs.

I'm gonna open it and read it when I win the lottery LOL

I have tears of happiness and sadness for the warmth and simplicity of childhood, brings back memories of my childhood running free.

It's privately owned now

I am crying again at the simplicity of life.....

I've always wanted to run around the woods in the dark

Wonderful.......I have cried enough tears for a month, but I have a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart.

I think it is, I just think we are to busy to notice, I see Laurie Lee in my Grandson quite often. (When he puts down his IPad that is)

If I could live in any era it would be the 1940's

I would happily give up all modern conveniences to live back then and experience the war.
