I'm sure people will let other people know via their facebooks too

it seems there are 'search' engines already floating for this forum, for people who know how, go to search this forum, then 'add' it, with certain words that applies for here.

for instance ....

BB chat forum, new, eve community, all old members here

this in the search will bring this forum up
if enough are added the better, try some of you to add other words and leave some out.

Ted, I think we are all very grateful to you for making us so welcome here. But, like so many other forum members, I was very worried by the suggestion that you might consider asking some of the FMs to help out with the moderation of this forum. I don't know if you or Rosemary saw any of the carnage on C4 last night - whilst it was funny to watch the complete meltdown, it was also quite scary to see so many people who are clearly quite unstable.

As the people running this nice new forum,you can't possibly be exepcted to know any of the history behind all the rows, or to know which of the people who have caused so much trouble over the years on C4 have registered here. But please be assured that several of the people who have caused problems on C4 ARE members here already and others will no doubt follow. Unfortunately you have no way of knowing who is who or what old scores people want to settle.

I can't honestly think of one FM who everyone would agree would make a good member of your mod team and who everyone would feel comfortable with, and if you were to pick ANYONE from among the membership, you would lose a huge number of FMs, and would shatter the confidence of most people to post here.

The worst of the posts have been deleted now, but do have a look at the C4 Big Brother Chat forum this morning, and the inevitable madness when the forum reopens for the final four hours today.

This Forum has the potential to be a really great replacement for the C4 forums. There is little you can do to stop some of the bad feeling between FMs coming out over here at times, but this is an opportunity for us all to have a fresh start. If you were to give ANY of the FMs moderation rights on this forum, it would be a total disaster; the old wars and paranoia would start again and people would leave in droves - PLEASE don't do it.
