First round, the 6 contestants have to make a savory or sweet pie at the end of which one of the 6 will go.

Second round, and a must for anyone who has watched Antiques Roadshow, as the 5 contestants have to cook a specially prepared menu for some of the experts from that series.

Third round, back to the Masterchef kitchens to create a dish inspired by someone they love or admire, at the end of which one of them will go leaving 4 into next week's finals.

Tonight, the four survivors have to prepare two sweet and two savoury items for afternoon tea. Besides John and Gregg they have to impress leading pastry chef Eric Lanlard. Then they have to cook two dishes for a trio of restaurant critics, At the end, one of the four departs.
