I don't want to sound like I am making a big deal out of nothing, but I enjoy waiting to Tuesday night to see who nominates who and when a spoiler is posted that takes the fun out of it.

Don't get me wrong I understand some people can't wait and like to talk about it, that's fine as they have the manners to do it in a thread entitled *SPOILER* which I and other wishing not to know know to avoid.

However some people would just hijack a normal thread and say something like 'Mr x nominated Mrs y this week' or 'This is why Mr X is up for nomination this week' etc.

Its only manners to warn people of a spoiler, and I'm sure people can understand that.

Thanks

I think you'll find it difficult to stop spoilers considering most of the topics are about Big Brother and it was published on the official Big Brother site last night.  I could understand if it were from a source leaked before it was officially announced, but considering the source is from the official site it's going to be difficult for people not to discuss the nomination and evictions. Just my opinion, but because of how Channel 4 announce it, it's actually announced the day before the highlights show.

I love spoilers I live for them  and no I don't have a life, what would I want one of them for?

But they're not actually spoilers Gel, it happened 24 hours ago and it's came from the official BB site, plus the save task is happening now. So does that mean people are not going to bring it up in other threads, because things happen that's maybe relative to a discussion about a certain housemate, most people with live feed or reading the LUT are going to discuss it in threads as it may be related to their favourite or least liked house-mate. If it's an event that's happening now while we are watching it, it's going to be open for discussion and I can't see for the life of me how you're supposed to work around that..of am I being thick

But its just that I and I'm sure others want to wait to the HL show to see who nominates who.
But with the greatest respect RiverR and no malice intended, perhaps a forum isn't the best place to come to if you want the element of surprise. There is no way you won't stumble on something that will spoil it for you. For me I can't wait to hear the latest noms, so I love it.

Its different this year tho. Noms are announced straight away and BB is putting everything up on the site and Twitter as soon as it happens. I understand where you are coming from but its impossible this year not to start discussing things as soon news comes up .

thank god Skylark, I thought I was losing the plot...it's on live feed now so how is it a spoiler *shrugs*

Yes Skylark, for example BB announced on facebook who had won the save and replace task straight away.

Now BB is on f/b and twitter and they are updating the Ch4 site so much it's going to be impossible to avoid them.

We've always had threads discussing live feed and if we are going to treat what's going on on the live feed (like todays task) as spoilers and not discuss them then we may as well pack up, coz that would leave us with nothing to talk about on the forum.
