We are thinking that some of the prizes (can't be monetary) could be of the voucher kind...ie: 1 hour of cleaning...cooking...gardening etc

plus...tins of biscuits/chocolates....plants ??

That sounds good Slim. Perhaps people could donate their time for shopping , cooking , gardening etc.?

1998 to 2001 I played it because I was barmaiding in the BA social club at weekends. Never had a house or anything near it.

They play Bingo in our club.

It easy the caller just shouts the numbers out.You decide what you are playing on each card,you usually have a book of five cards.

I used to ove going to bingo.  I got too addicted though  had to stop going

I want the users to dictate what they want & be able to provide with the goods/personal we have.....keeping costs as far down as we can....being a charity.

Culture shocks ...

Mrs Jer wouldn't be seen dead in a bingo hall, so out of kindness I used to take her late mum. Very exciting! However there aren't many left. Smurkin' ban?

We have an over sized awning 

Bingo was part of the nightly entertainment when we were in Turkey this year.  My boys (10 and 6) loved it so much that when we got home I had to buy a bingo machine and pads and dabbers all for our family night when we play games etc.

 

What am I doing to my kids!?

Teaching them numbers Ells, so pin your 'Good Mother' badge on

 Teaching them gambling more like!

One of the local social clubs nearby gives sweets as prizes...if you win you get to take a sweet from the Quality street box ....I'd be hard pressed to believe that that could be classed as gambling!
