You know the ones that the shops are stuffed full of in the run up to xmas... Quality Street, Celebrations, Roses etc. Does anyone know where/if you can get them at the minute, none of the shops seem to have them in 
I've checked on Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's websites so far

We have a really really weird shop near us called veals. I cant even really describe it... Its a massive big wholesalers that sell stuff that's out of date or not in season etc. I bet they have loads.

I dunno really, I was going to visit some people and they have 5 kids so I thought a big box of chocs for all the kids to share.... any suggestions on what else to get 5 kids?

Just get 5 boxes of normal chocs, easier and plus they wont fight over them

maybe i could get an empty tin and tip 2 normal boxes in?
If there's a few younger kids then maybe colouring books and some crayons? You might want something to keep them amused while you chat to the parents.....chocolate tends to cause all sorts of fights and dirt

oh cheers for that, maybe I'll phone my local Asda and ask - I did look in there but they only had normal size at the time

You may not be able to get the big tins....but you should still be able to get fairly big boxes of celebrations and stuff? Do you have Celebrations over there?

How long is the visit for Saz? Their ages seem ok, old enough to play around and entertain each other while their parents have guests so hopefully no need for any duct tape. Although wine wold probably be a good idea for when they all go to bed if you're not used to that kind of noise
oh it would just be for a few hours Ells (I'm still gonna need hard liquor afterwards though ) I was going to take the usual 'thanks for having me over and feeding me' box of chocs etc for the parents, but thought the kids might feel left out?
