Moonie, Met Office has a high for here of 23° and BBC of 25°

Haven't heard if there's any Freeview reception issues today but if there are any it could well be as a result of the high pressure. The present high pressure across the country will lessen so it there are Freeview problems caused by that, those should lessen by Friday.

Hi El

Either sound good to me

Moonie

Good morning my apologies for being away so long, I hadn’t realised it had gone so fast! How are you all?

What a heatwave! I took Bramble out very early this morning while it was cool, we saw the sun rise and heard the dawn chorus. I’ll now keep her at home until later this evening. I’ve spent a few days painting and doing a little maintenance at work, and a lovely local lady has made us a collection of masks. there’s still visors to source and other things but it’s a step in the right direction.

Good morning everyone

A beautiful sunny morning.

Summer, I was also awake early and listened to the dawn chorus.

That’s great that someone has made masks for you - are they reusable ones that you can wash at 60 degrees? Good luck with sourcing the visors.
Moonie, I hope you are feeling better this morning. As El said, make sure you stay hydrated.

Have a good day and stay safe, everyone

Good morning everyone

Thank you all very much. I am feeling better this morning

El, I have been out in the sun a lot over the last few day so that could be it

The sun is shining. The birds flew near to me as I was putting my washing. It was just like I wasn’t there

Have a great day everyone and as always, stay safe

Moonie

@~Sparkling Summer~ copy of an email I've just sent to my clients regarding the self-employment income support scheme:

Chancellor has just announced an extension to the self-employment income support scheme. The existing one covered March, April and June. So this one is intended to cover July, August and September. It won't be as high a grant as the first one and will be based on 70% of everage profits rather than 80%. So 7/8ths of the value of the first grant and is capped at ÂĢ6,570 compared to ÂĢ7,500.

It appears that applications will open in August to be paid out in August. Similar procedures as for the first.

Taken from the BBC site:

BBC details of the furlough scheme as announced by the Chancellor a short time ago:

Of course I hope these won't be needed but at least you've got some info
